Cleaning out the Inbox

Some quick random updates to clean out the inbox before the weekend ahead:
  • Jesus didn't show last night in Echo Park. Maybe he was stuck in traffic or afraid to take public transit. If you want, you can still tune in to his radio show over on KFI. (And we thought we had cajones impersonating dead Mayors. Even we don't go that far)

  • Samantha Waterman, one of MAV's many workhorses throughout the campaign, is headed for DC where she will represent MAV on the East Coast.

  • Speaking of MAV, his web company, Get Active, who supplied his website are thumping their chests that they delivered the elections for him. Someone might want to inform them that Hertzberg actually crushed them when it came to web impact.

  • On a somber note, funeral services for Assemblyman Mike Gordon are being held today at 1:00 at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills, followed by a gathering of friends at 5:30 at Chevron Park in El Segundo (324 W. El Segundo Blvd.).

  • With all of the rumor mongers worried about MAV running for Gov in '06, they are overlooking Gavin up in SF. Battle of the Mayors?
Got a tip? Feel free to e-mail any of us and we'll be sure to follow up.

Gavin Newsom would totally backfire in running against Arnold. The gays would go crazy for him in SF, but he won't galvanize them cause Arnold is no demon, he supports gay marriage too. Its not like running him against Bill Jones or Lungren or someone like that.

However, Newsom's gay marriage moves in SF will totally energize the wing-nut Republican base for Arnold, more than anyone could, even Arnold himself.
