Paging the 3rd floor - Where are you?

Here's a first. The LA Ethics Commission is meeting next Tuesday and among it's 18 cases up for review are items regarding 7 current and former city elected officials campaigns, and most of them don't have offices on the third floor.

The list includes:

City Atty. Rocky Delgadillo and Councilwoman Wendy Greuel - $9,500 fine for Clear Channel Outdoor, who paid for billboards between 2001 and 2003 and reported inproperly

Councilmen Jack Weiss, Bernard C. Parks, Tony Cardenas and Tom LaBonge, and former Councilman Nick Pacheco are caught in the net due to Seems Plumbing Co. and Cal Building Maintenance Industries who are being fined $16,500 for making donations and then reimbursing employees.

And you guys call Hahn Pay to Play. Even sweet little Wendy Greuel is on it. Great.

Hahn just did it more often and for bigger numbers.

Yu can bet that if you look behind the big violators, therre's a good chance you'll find Ted Stein, Leland Wong, Troy Edwards ormaybe James Acevedo or Chris Hammond.

The birds always come home to roost.

Ain't it cool?

So, what ever happened to the 4th floor peeps?

Will they return now with Mayor Jimmy gone?

The birds will come home to roost, and Acevedo will drag padilla and cardenas with him. The AP/TC endorsement of Villaragoisa doesn't exonerate them from their shady Acevedo deals of the past. They're going down... Aint it cool?
