Open Note to Doug McIntyre OR Jim Hahn's Mexican City Part Two
This is a question for radio talk show host, Doug McIntyre or any of my
other fellow Republicans dragging a snail trail for Jim Hahn.
How do you address the Mayor's claim, made fully in public and on the
record, that "Los Angeles is a Mexican city?" If you're upset with
Liberman Broadcasting for saying LA is a "Hispanic city," this is a
bigger deal. (Why? Because Hispanic is not a nationality, so
theoretically you could get away with saying LA is a "Hispanic city"
consider the majority of residents are of Hispanic origin, but to say
its a "Mexican city" is far more treasonous in my view.)
Tony Villar said "The last time I checked, Los Angeles was in
California." Want to hear how you all spin this (cause I figure it will
cost the Mayor a few more dollars to have to respond to another blog
entry on Mayor Sam.)

Well, first I'd have to see Hahn's quote in context (something never see on this blog), but fact is -- it was in ALL the history books -- L.A. (like many Southwest city's) was founded by the natio of Mexico, long before the U.S. took over the state.
So, what's you point... or did you have one?
(No charge on that last one, Jim Hahn... working for free to expose ADV).
Seriously, are you trying to say Hahn said L.A. was part of the current nation of Mexico? Or have you just run out of real slime pumped in by the flagging ADV campaign, and have to resort to rewriting history books now?
Must have just finished your briefing with Parke and Ace. Boy, they look like idiots after their responses on the Florida money last week. So is this all they can come up with in their desperation to TRASH Hahn? Please. I can hardly wait for the next report of corruption on ADV. Hear its coming real soon maybe this week. So spin all you want. Ask ADV about all those illegal vendors in his community? That's what LA will look like if the MECHA kid gets in.
Geez, I wish somebody WOULD somehow prove Jim Hahn corrupt so at least the criticisms of him would move away from this petty word-mangling shit you keep posting here.
I'm not a fan of either candidate, but so far this blog seems to be concentrating on rumors of wrongdoing never proven, and whether or not he was incontinent as an infant (I was, and so were you!). Enough with the pumping up the unknown results of investigations that are either incomplete or never happened. Investigated don't mean shit -- Martin Luther King Jr. was one of the most investigated African Americans in the history of this country.
Someone give me a REAL reason to vote against a sitting mayor, that has to do with the state of the city, in order to take a flyer on a challenger who really hasn't said what he will do given the chance.
Someone give me a REAL reason to vote FOR Villaraigosa (except that he's not Hahn... which leads back to the last sentence).
I've never seen a blog so devoted to mindless, unimportant drivel about candidates who either DO or DON'T have records of accomplishments on behalf of Los Angeles (Hahn, for 4 years) or Councilmanic District 14 (Villaraigosa, for 2 years).
So WHAT are they. Things either happened under their respective watches, or they didn't -- good and bad.
It REALLY pissed you off that your endorsee is afraid to go on drivetime radio is the most car-dependent city in the world, huh, Mayor Sam!
HA... YOU may not have a choice of who to support -- be the rest of L.A. does... and MOST of them are making their choices RIGHT about now.
Didn't McIntyre invite Hahn to come back AGAIN... for ANOTHER hour of drive-time soloing... to one of L.A.'s largest radio audiences.
Best not to back a coward like ADV in a dog fight like this.

Please, Hahn giving respect to the Mexican origins of the city compared to some rabble-rousing station owner trying to say L.A. is NOW part of Mexico.
That wouldn't make a debate topic at an LAUSD middle school.

Got a walkpiece from Hahn yesterday, it was IN SPANISH, and it said he SUPPORTS DRIVERS LICENSES FOR ILLEGALS!
Is this true? Do John and Ken know about this? Why is he telling this to white people?
Hahn is doing the same thing that Yasser Arafat would do, say one thing in English and another thing in Arabic.

Now I never took my California history, being from Texas, but wasn't Los Angeles founded by SPANISH missionaries?

Comparing Hahn to Arafat? As Neil Carter and John Stossel would say, gimme a break. Hahn is a profile in political courage for keepign the city together and hiring Bratton. Arafat was a weak-ass, self-aggrandizing terrorist who had a chance to be a peacemaker adn blew it.
Fake GOP4AV -- ADV is NOT a liberal, he is a rabid socialist that NO honest, legitimate Republican can stomach.
I love how John & Ken, Bill Handel, Larry Elder, Doug, Leo Terrell and all the rest are calling Antonio a socialist. YES poster they know that Hahn supports the driver licenses' but to all you idiots there's a security reason and if you had any brains you would have listened to Chief Bratton talk about. MORONS!
