In the end, it doesn't matter who support the candidate, but who the MAYOR supports.
A Mayor "ADV" would ONLY support his own selfish, career goals... just ask the district he's been screwing for two years.

The Assembly majority leader is Antonio Villaraigosa, ex-MEChA (Moviemento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan) activist and former president of the Southern California ACLU. Assemblyman Villaraigosa was the only Latino elected official to speak at the Latino March in Washington, D.C., where he touted the legislation promoted by the Latino leadership in Sacramento and spoke fervently about the right of "undocumented people" to free medical care and education through college. He demanded another amnesty for those living in the U.S. illegally.
Last May, Speaker Villaraigosa joined Mexican President Zedillo in addressing the California Legislature. Although both men are thoroughly fluent in English, they both made their speeches in Spanish. Then Villariagosa stood and began the Chicano handclap. Without knowing what they were doing -- as calls to their offices confirmed -- the rest of the legislators joined this spirited display of ethnic nationalism and started clapping, too.
Any high school or college student in Southern California has heard this sound -- clap-clap, clap-clap-clap -- and understands its meaning. Like displaying the Mexican flag, it is the MEChA trademark clap and hails Chicano power.
When Speaker Villairogosa was campaigning on behalf of 46th District Assemblyman Gil Cedillo, he advised voters in Spanish that "Congressional welfare reform was an attack on our people, intended to punish our immigrant companions and to punish our community."
The frontrunner in the race to be the next mayor of the "City of Angels" is no angel himself, says a California family advocacy group. In fact, says the group, Antonio Villaraigosa has one of the worst records on family values and religious freedom in the state's history. "Villaraigosa is against the Boy Scouts, against protecting marriage for a man and a woman, against religious freedom, and against parental rights," says Randy Thomasson, president of the Campaign for Children and Families. And there is more, Thomasson says. "If elected mayor, Villaraigosa would truly be 'the ACLU Mayor,'" he says. The CCF leader points out that in the early 1990s, the mayoral candidate was president of the Southern California chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union, during which time he "relentlessly attacked" the Scouts, promoted homosexual "marriage," and persecuted religious values. And according to Thomasson, Villaraigosa -- as a member of the California State Assembly -- authored two "ultra-liberal" bills: one targeting religious businesses that prohibited the hiring of open homosexuals, and one requiting that high school student be taught to appreciate sexual orientation as a condition of graduation. In THIS slimfest, 44 percent undecided is a LOT more believable than 5 percent, and there's NO way, ADV held his own when his finger-pointing hand got caught in his own out-of-state cookie jar.

I have been posting how immature and volatile Attention Deficit Villaraigosa supporters can be. Rick Orlov....for Hahn it is Jeff Millman, who worked briefly in the mayor's press office before moving over to the campaign. Councilman Antonio Villaraigosa's main person has been Nathan James, who has double duty as a spokesman for the campaign.....Both have been collecting their share of stories that they will be able to pass on in future campaigns.
For Millman, one recent adventure involved a Villaraigosa aide picking up his tape recorder when the young campaign worker was off answering a cell phone call. The Villaraigosa aide, who was not identified, said some obscenities on the tape before shutting it off and returning it. Needless to say, a sense of humor is invaluable.
Villaraigosa volunteer advance man Michael Trujillo dug into his pocket recently to keep Hahn supporters hot and thirsty at a Los Angeles Valley College rally on a warm Saturday afternoon.
The event was for Villaraigosa to get an endorsement from Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass......But, when about 50 chanting Hahn demonstrators showed up, there was a visible angst among the councilman's supporters.rather than engage in the group handwringing, Trujillo took action...Spotting a nearby vendor who was being surrounded by the Hahn supporters, Trujillo paid $300 to buy all the water and soda the vendor had available.
"It was hot out," Trujillo said. "I figured it was better off going to our people."
Here's the dilemna for Tony V. Because his wacked out poll from KABC-TV is sponsored by media, ONLY KABC will report it -- plus a few partisan blogs.
No newspaper will pick it up, especially the Times. The media WILL however, albeit skeptically, report the results of the Tyson poll (named for ADV's chicken act with real media, right?).
So most people not tight with either campaign will see only two polls over the next week... the dead-heat Tyson, and the Times, when/if shows, and BOTH will make it look like there's a decisive shift away from the loser of 2001.
People ARE sheep, and if they believe thousands of their fellow voters have moved away from Tony because he's now "dirty," too -- they'll start taking another look at the Hahn record, and see that things COULD be worse.

KCAL9 just reported Antonio in Toluca Lake inspecting potholes. HELLOOOO why isn't doing that in his own district? This race has been so contested and covered that few, if any are undecided.
The TV constantly plays commercials and our mailboxes are loaded with paper endorsements, slimy pictures, phony pictures, and stories.
It'll be worse before it is better.
Many have already voted. I have.
For those who haven't, the race is just getting interesting, but that doesn't mean they haven't pretty much decided. About this time, I'd say that is but 10% of the vote.
But, that 10% can change the election, so each candidate needs to motivate his voters. Jimmy does it with phony polls showing him close. He isn't.
Antonio is playing the "Prevent Defense". I think that is dangerous, as many think it prevents winning.
Jimmy should have let his Commissioners fire Bernie. Antonio should have had someone checking the Florida contributions.
Both have made mistakes.
Many have made their decision. Those who havn't will be poring though crap by the carload. Especially in the 11th CD.
Everyone is expecting dirt from Jimmy, and they'll get it. Lots of it, so much that it turns the stomach. Antonio is dishing a bunch himself.
Right now, I say it is 10-12 points edge Antonio. Far, but not so far that Jimmy can't slime his way to the wire.

They've been all geared up to defend their little cowardly boy-toy's hurt feelings over personal attacks when/if that came out, but now it's just grating on them - like the second shoe that never falls.
Attacking ADV's crappy record in city council is much more effective, though, and no one seems to have much to rant back with. Mayor S. started this out talking about Two-bill Gill, but that makes him twice as effective at the state level as ADV has been in council and committees.
(More so, for Mayor Sam himself, who said last week that ADV's ONLY program proposal in two years in City was a crappy idea).

What is happening with the Southwest Voter Registration Education Project, why does Gloria Molina's husband (crook) head this organization, along with another (crook) Alvin Parra. He laundered campaign money to buy property in San Bernardino under his alcoholic sister's name.
That was pretty funny, in one of the papers -- ADV's overuse of "roll up sleeves" defined as being some kind of "tic" - They've raised millions in campaign funds and spent almost as much, and his hacks haven't been able to re-program this bugle-blowing trained seal to bark out any new canned responses in months now. The media on the trail are starting to mouth the words to his responses before he rises from the podium, like they're his understudies in a bad off-broadway play.

I hit MacIntyre and the whole show turned into an illegal alien show (thurs 7th) Saturday I hit Ira Fistel on the night shift. He is very much for open borders. It is great to hear him make his argument for open borders. The point is to repeat the words of Hahn over and over. It is irrelevant what the host thinks. Fire up the callers to set the agenda of the show. Once an issue takes off, the host cannot stop it. After I blasted the issue, the very next call was a Mexican who agreed with me ! I had a Mexican on my side arguing with this asshole multiculturalist. The rest of the show was a peppered with calls on illegal immigration. Bottom line - Educate the public - on free air time.
Gil Cedillo was riding in a Cinco de Mayo parade on Saturday, so was Jose Huizar, Jackie Goldberg, some others -- all separate, of course.
Worst attended "Cinco" celebration on the Eastside, ever. Pretty funny watching all this barely known pols waving to less than nobody. Nobody but the parade organizers had any idea who they were. Ed Reyes was the best known person in the parade, and That's saying something.
Instead of being again out of his district Antonio should be in his own district checking on potholes and the illegal vendors he's allowing to run rampant.
