County Outrage

In the latest closed door nose thumbing by the absolutely useless County Board of Supervisors, these morons gave the go ahead to allow District Attorney Steve Cooley and County Assessor Rick Auerbach to use county funds to sue the county to overturn voter imposed term limits on their respective offices.

The same folks who took the mission cross of the county seal, are now giving your money to your elected officials to essentially sue you over what you voted for.

If Cooley and Auerbach want to keep their jobs and overturn term limits, they need to use their own damn money. At a time when the County is in a fiscal crisis and can't even manage it's own hospitals, this is a massive outrage. And they need to pursue this not through the courts but by going to voters in a new referendum. But I guess they don't have the balls for that.

One thing for sure - we here at the Sister City are urging term limits for another County elected official - Zev Yarovslasky. Oh yes, I can see the "Dump Zev" bumper stickers now.

Bless you Mayor Sam! You are the only true conservative voice in LA. With LA Observed being limousine liberals and LA Voice and Martini Republic being bohemian, flame throwing hateful liberals, your site is the only one that tells it like it is from our perspective. Keep up the good work and tell those County folks where to go!

The county is screwed with fat ugly people like Gloria Molina and her stupid ugly face husband. Her entire entourage is corrupt. When is the AG investigation coming to light on her husband and SW Voter Registration, soon, right? Yes, all the anonymous letters sent were appropriate to abolish crooked politics from the county. Gloria Molina is FAT, UGLY, ARROGANT.

Sheriff Lee Baca sued LA County over term limits last year and the court agreed with him that they apply to the Supervisors and not executive offices. He did this at the same time he was actively campaigning to raise our sales taxes.
I like the new look of your Blog.

I'm ready for every single county supervisor to be kicked out. I can't believe we voted to not expand them. I think it was to 9. I voted for it. I didn't fall for that "extra layer of bureaucracy" bullshit. Those control freaks make me sick. They definitely cause more trouble than they're worth.
