Hahn Shines?

In an effort to show that I don't only bash on our fine Mayor Poopy, I post another item from the same column in the Los Angeles Wave newspaper today.

HAHN SHINES — They say Mayor Hahn gave the performance of a lifetime when he spoke Monday at the rally to save King/Drew. They say that contrary to his usual dull, stilted self, hizzoner was animated, loud and passionate. They say he swung his arms about and raised his voice in a manner heretofore unseen by the citizenry. Wow!
I don't even know where to begin...I leave it to you fine readers to insert jokes here...

He must have gone to the Al Gore school of how to shed your dull image by acting like a black preacher.

Everyone is talking how Mayor Hahn was a different man at that meeting. He definitely has it in him. Good for the Mayor.

FROM MEAT:

Hey, i let folks know its me when i post, i don't hide under the anonymous blanket.

That said, well i wasn't there so i can't speak factually about the event, if this mayor gave a good speech good for him.

I am sure he gives good speeches everyday, not exactly a reason i'd vote for the guy. But on this issue, i agree with the position of the mayor on this hospital, shame on the sups for closing this down.

To Meat:

If you're not afraid to post why don't you use at least your first name? Because you are on Antonio's payroll like everyone the 4th Floor say you are.

One thing people cannot deny, Mayor Hahn sometimes is at his best when he is under the gun. Look how well he did when he got rid of Parks. Now everyone is saying that was one of the best things he could have done. People critizd him, didn't support him and said it would be the end of his political career. He's still standing tall. YOU GO Mayor!

If the race comes down to Tony and Jimmy again. I feel sorry for Tony. Nothing new to claim as an accomplishment.

Jimmy went easy on Tony last time. He could have hit him a lot harder. And this time he'll need to.

That's right what in the hell can Tony say he's accomplished in the last 1 1/2yr in CD 14. Oh I know, having residents sweep the streets, uummmmm! taking money from neighborhood councils, taking credit for other people's work, I think that's it. The Mayor on the other hand has given us Chief Bratton who by the way has had crime down in LA with a slither of police officers. No one can top that act.

FROM CITYWATCHER:

I'm appalled at how Bitter Bernie, Hertzberg and Tony are all saying Mayor Hahn hasn't kept his promise of a safer city. YET, crime is down in LA (LA Times, Daily News, Daily Breeze). Why don't these candidates pick something else to whine about or better yet come up with their own ideas on a vision. Oh I forgot they don't have one.
