Mayor Villaraigosa to Open Restaurant

Not wanting to be outdone by former Mayor Richard Riordan who owns The Original Pantry Downtown, Gladstone's 4 Fish in Malibu and Mort's Deli in Pacific Palisades, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa announced Saturday he is going into the restaurant business.Villaraigosa detailed plans for "V's Pacific" at the soon to be built W Hotel at Hollywood and Vine. The eatery will serve gourmet Asian dishes such as beef sautéed with glass noodles in chile and black sesame
seeds, lobster with caviar and fava beans and Chilean sea bass in passion-fruit sauce.Villaraigosa also announced that he has hired former City Council and Assembly Member Jackie Goldberg as the restaurant's sommelier.

Looks like the honeymoon is over not only for Antonio and clowncil but with LA Slimes. Shocking they reported this story.
L.A. mayor-City Council tensions persist........Villaraigosa's actions have grated on some members who disagreed. The strain may affect major issues beyond City Hall.
It's Spring Break already. How about losing the "Bring back Stephanie" picture? And take down your Christmas tree lights while you're at it.

A more apt themed restaurant for Antonio would be "Tony's Roadhouse - Specializing in Homewreckings" - when is the Times going to get the scoop on his break-up with Corinna. The fourth family he has abandoned - this latest one he abandoned twice. The daily special can always be Tony's favorite "nihilistic delight" - it's always only about Tony.
What an asshat. What has this do nothing done for L.A., except pose for photo ops? I mean really, what has he done? As long as the apathy factor continues, L.A. will continue to decline, and become the third world city it is evolving into.
He is going to hire illegal aliens to work there!!!!!

It was funny Cooley making fun of Antonio and his excuse about his wedding ring at a roast. No one has seen Corina and Antonio together in a very very very very long time. Why does he think he has to lie about it? Who was the young female Antonio was on the red carpet at the Oscars with?
April Fools indeed....Mayor Tony does not have the "cache" to open a restaurant in an upscale place like that.......
Glad some of you figured out this was an April Fools' story.
