In honor of Red Spot's Birthday

KTLA's Lu Parker and Mayor Antonio Villar.
This blogger returns home from the Sierras to this ........., the end of the "Parkervillar Branding Exercise".
The mayor's second TV news girlfriend of his tenure at the top of L.A. City Hall is apparently calling it quits.

With the last fiscal year of the Mayor Villar Reign commencing yesterday look for more splits of various varieties as the former City Terrace resident nears his return to being "Citizen Tony Villar".

...... and no self-respecting telebimbo would want a part in that branding exercise.

Your thoughts ..............

What has this mayor done in 8 years on the job? LA has the highest business tax rate. Legal Zoom, for just 1 example left for that very reason and relocated to Virginia where it's much more business friendly. When driving on the streets there are potholes everywhere; riuning traction of our cars. The LAUSD spends an annual budget of $7billion, yet they still only graduate 40% of students and teachers still have to pay out of pocket for certain supplies. The LADWP keeps raising its rates, changing its leaders and yet its infrastructure is in bad need of updating; from sewer lines to telephone poll. This democrat is on the side of big money developers including AEG, which wants exemptions from Environmental Impact reports to build a football stadium with private financing and very little need to give the city tax revenue; not to mention the city's community redevelopment agency gave $50 million to billionaire Eli Broad, but only $30 million to South LA. Finally, with all these increases, Mayor Villar is about to leave us with a $120 million debt bubble that's about to burst; this according to LA Weekly
