He is the best choice for District Attorney; what do you want, mediocracy?
He is an experienced prosecutor who has won anb incredible amount of cases already for the City of LA.
I for one will be sad to see him leave the City; he is needed here.
What a liar.
The sharks are circling around Trutanich. Hope the voters hold him accountable for his actions.

Nice preemptive strike by Team Jackson. But Nuch is still running--for better or worse.
I know a thing or two about how to lose elections, and I think Trutanich's maneuver just assured he will lose both the District Attorney's race and the subsequent City Attorney's race.
Missed who paid for that ad at the end.

9:50PM - Ad was paid for by Alan Jackson for DA. He's doing a public service in showing Trutanich up for being such a phony. Trutanich fooled a lot of people into buying his own brand of snake oil and I think the tide is going to turn against him badly.
Carmen did a good job in allowing his employees to do their jobs.
However, I have been trying to get an appointment to speak with him for years without any success.
This is what I picture-the strategy was to put out feelers-as stupid as it is transparent.
Nuch will see how repulsed people are by the broken promise and he'll say "I had no idea that my dear friend would do that. Yes, people are begging me to run. But, really, I mean it. I intend to stay with the city for two terms."
Then, he will lose his run for a second term.
I admit, I voted for him. 'Would do it again if he were running against Weiss.
He really pulled out a turd with this one and earned the new name Turd-tanich.
I love Trutanich. He's the only one who does anything down at city hall.
These other candidates are unknowns who don't stand a chance.
Just to prove how stupid some people are, along comes 10:03am who says "I love Trutanich. He's the only one who does anything down at city hall."
Let's see:
1) Launches a year long 'criminal aspects' investigation into AEG, and settles for a bunch of Lady Gaga tickets.
2) Reneges on agreement with Laura Chick and Wendy Greuel over the Controller's right to audit.
3) Threatens to arrest people over nothing illegal (AEG's Regency Theater billboards)
4) Reneges on agreement with medical marijuana community to write a fair ordinance - his was declared unconstitutional.
5) Tries to get a Grand Jury and when people stop laughing, they tell him to pound sand.
6) Loses 15% of his staff who can't wait to take early retirement or other jobs to get away from the Clown's micromanaging.
7) Gets a photo of himself 'high-fiving' the death of a baby.
8) Makes big promises over locking up political protesters, then changes direction when people start comparing him to Hosni Mubarak.
9) Threatens to sue Mulholland Terrace for defamation.
You know what? I'm done listing what Trutanich has "done."
I also voted for Turdsandwich and wish I hadn't. I hated Jackass Weisshole, but at least we knew the devil. Turdsandwich is a dangerous conman who can lie to your face without batting an eyelid.
Carmen is a douch bag.
Finally, Walter Moore says something near the truth.
But Walter. you are too modest.
You know a LOT about loosing elections.
Remember the stupid stuff you spent the money on?
All you did was raise money to advertise your law business; you knew you never had a chance to beat Villaraigosa.
I am surprised you haven't moved to Hawaii by now. Remember when you said you'd leave town?

Oh, the shame of it...
Carmen is da man. You're all just playa haters. He actually walks the walk.
I didn't much like Weiss or Trutanich, but I thought Weiss would be awful, just awful as a city attorney. I didn't like the way Trutanich's campaign attacked Weiss, in fact I felt sorry for him, but I guess he brought a lot of it on himself.
After seeing the way Trutanich has behaved since he became city attorney, I am looking forward to Trutanich getting a taste of his own medicine when his opponents start firing up their attack machines.
BTW 'Turdsandwich' is perfect.
although it may be too similar to another candidate, Mario the turd Turdjillo.

Okay, Turdsandwich trumps Turdanich. It just goes to show what great team work can do.

I VOTED FOR TRUTANICH TO GET RID OF WEISS, BUT TRU CAN'T STOP SELLING OUT. LOOK WHO SUPPORTED HIM BACA AND COOLEY MORE PEOPLE WITH DIRT ON THEM. BACA BACKS EVERYONE LIKE A WHORE! I'LL THINK TWICE THIS TIME.
