When Phil makes statements like this he makes Al Sharpton look like a saint.
According to news sources, she is in surgery.

Congresswoman Giffords was on Sarah Palin's hit list. There is a graphic going around that Sarah had on her website (she took it down today after the shooting) with the names of 17 democrats she wanted taken out. There were gun sights over each of their district's. Sickos!
RED SPOT... FNC just said it was reportedly an Afghanistan War Vet.
Goldwater said extremism in defense of liberty is no vice... if this is a right wing type, yes extremism is a vice.
I hope that Phil doesn't pretend to be a Christian. He appears to be saying that it's OK to try and kill someone you disagree with politically.

I hope you're kidding, but it not, let's examine real life:
a) When deranged "christians" go nuts and harm innocent people, 99.99 percent of others who claim to be Christian immediately condemn the act, say it's against their religion to do so, (and help track down, try, convict, and sometimes fry them as part of the jobs).
b) When deranged liberals go nuts and kill people, the remaining (not-so deranged) liberals say it was SOCIETY'S fault because he was a "victim of [fill-in-societal-ill], and it would have NEVER happened if conservatives just agreed to spend more money on tax-paid social programs. Once caught, some of those same liberals try to get the killer off scot-free.
c) When deranged, violent muslims go nuts and kill innocent people, millions of other muslims worldwide celebrate in the streets in dozens of third-world countries, Imam's say it was "Allah's will", and Muslim politicians act like they didn't see a thing. (OH, and the aforementioned liberals condemn anyone who refers to them as "muslim terrorists")
So, who are the "freaks" here by most civilized standards? A, B, or C?
If you answered "A" join the ranks of the completely deranged, and turn in your own handgun, before liberals have to start making excuses for you..
I don't know how much of this vile shooting can be blamed on heated rhetoric. People have been saying horrid things about politicians since the beginning of time. Leaders have been assassinated without any rhetoric flying back and forth.
What is different now than in the pre internet past is the velocity and availability of hateful rhetoric.
Society has always had wackos, but now they have ready access to voices that spark violent action on their parts. The messages they are listening to are not calls for violence, but they have just enough edge for disturbed minds to interpret them as such. Just imagine how much worse the Son of Sam would have been had the internet existed during his murder spree.
That's the the price we are paying for 24/7 connectivity.
What can we do about it? This site or others cannot control extreme remarks (like PJ's) made on Facebook or other sites. But we can curtail the attention we give these fringe political wannabes.
So let's stop feeding the beast and knock off the endless senseless threads about PJ - they only encourage him and others of his ilk.
And let's pray for the many victims of this crime instead.

Alleged shooter was huge fan of Ayn Rand. The Phil similarities get closer by the minute.
I don't think Nina is very smart at all. The fact is that six innocent people were murdered and many more injured. There's no conclusion to wait for. Their lives are already concluded.
There's also no need to wait until the shooter is captured. He was held and captured on the scene.
