"Big Huizzy" keeps watch on Constituents in CD 14

BIG HUIZZY IS WATCHING YOU!!
Wonder if the CLARTS Fund was utilize to purchase El Sereno Field Office Director Arturo Gonzalez's surveillance tools? I seem to remember now that Clouncilman Jose Huizar paid a Ethics Commission fine in the past for conducting secret research on protential opposition candidates.
If anyone plans on staging a protest within CD-14, that sheds light on the lack of due diligence on the part of Councilman Jose Huizar, be warned now, for "Big Huzzy" will be watching YOU!! Above one can see Councilman Huizar's El Sereno Office Director Arturo Gonzalez conferring with a "Sgt. Walker of the Hollenbeck Division as a small group of activists prepare to walk and rally against the illegal past dumping of Sex Offenders in El Sereno.

Gonzalez and Sgt. Walker ride along marchers. With the likes of candidates for City Council, Neighborhood Council members, retire parole officers, off duty peace officers, community members and one or two Huizar supporters in the crowd. One is surprise that Councilman Huizar did not ask LAPD Chief Charlie Beck to call a "district-wide tactical alert". Better yet, Huizar may ask Chief Beck to reconstitute the dis-banded notorious SIS Bureau.

Nothing like a good Field Office Director keeping his boss inform on the numbers (small) and the who's who of the people in the crowd. BTW, how many other council districts in the City of Los Angeles have establish "staffer/ police ride along programs, to keep tabs on their outspoken constituents?

Gonzalez, third from the left, listens as University Hills Resident and LA-32 Neighborhood Council Member Mark Overstreet speaks to the audience. Nice to know in CD 14 that LAPD resources are always on standby to transport Councilman Huizar staffers to regurgitate written spin from the likes of Communications Director Rick "Coca Puffs" Coca. But this crowd wasn't buying his talking points.

Does CD 14 City Council Candidate Tony Butka, wearing glasses and light color shirt, merit his own LAPD provided "escort"? He may also want to watch to his right as Boyle Heights Neighborhood Council President Jose "H" Aguilar listens intently to the proceedings. Some have speculated that Aguilar and Huizar have "broken the tamale" and now are working together on a resolution to the Wyvernwood Apartment Complex issue.

Tomorrow, we bring you more on the November 13, 2010 rally on the Sex Offender issue and the broken parole system, state-wide.

Your thoughts..............

Scott Johnson in CD 14

So why did you people not only ELECT Huizar but RE-ELECT him?

Voter apathy?
Voter ignorance?

Seems to me that Huizar is no different now than he was when YOU PEOPLE VOTED FOR HIM! Why the buyers remorse? You already know what a dirtbag he was!

Yah yah yah. Give it up, Red Spot. Here's how it will go down. Rudy fizzles, Huizar wins. Sex offenders run wild in El Sereno. Pre-school students buy beer from the Lincoln Heights 7-11, Jose Aguilar's 99 weeks run out, Aguilar joins Huizar's staff, everyone celebrates. Pucker up, Red Spot.

P.S. Who the f**k is "Big Huzzy"???

Grooooooan!

Here we go, another 4 months of "the incumbent is crooked and can't do anything right" here on this blog, day-after-day, week-after-week. After which, he'll be overwhelmingly re-elected by the public, we'll be reminded just how badly out of touch and ill-informed Scott Johnson is as to what his neighbors really want, think, and need.

"I'm against it" isn't really a "position" Scott. It's just blind "OP-position" and that's just as useless as being a blinded lovesick sycophant of the guy currently in office.

How about some rationale thinking and less partisan bitching and moaning, for a change?

Are you really the ONLY (illiterate) guy in CD14 "smart" enough to see through Huizar? Or did he just piss you off by saying no to some odd special interest request you made years ago, and you just can't get beyond it?

memo to 1:56 PM,

If I accept your premise that my numerous posts on the follies of Councilman Huizar, are based upon some unfulfilled past request, then I would just be just like Huizzy in lowering myself to IBEW's Boss D'Arcy, for campaign cash.

Some of us within the "Cut and Paste Republic of CD 14", acually put self last in prioritizing openness and transparenccy engaging our local democracy.

And you?

Constituents and cops are sick of Huizar using LAPD as his own personal security. The cops at HOllenbeck can't stand Huizar because he has no respect for them and he abuses asking for cops to babysit his events. Huizar is wasting money and making LAPD go to his 5 STupid Tree Lighting ceremonies. He needs to reimburse LAPD for those days if he wants cops there. CD14 has more gangs and Huizar needs to start paying for LAPD to be at his events and his meetings. LAPD has been cut drastically and what LA County does is what LA City should be doing. Read this:
The annual East LA Xmas parade has been canceled because of a lack of funds. The event was scheduled for Sunday. The Whittier Blvd Merchants Assn. couldn’t afford to pay for the LA County sheriff’s deputies needed to patrol the event, said Tony DeMarco, the group’s vice president

4:02pm,

The constituents RE-ELECTED Huizar after four years of knowing what a dirtbag he is.

It's a little late in the game to be saying you are shocked, SHOCKED to find out what kind of a dirtbag Huizar is.

Ignorant?
Apathetic?
Too bad.
You fools voted for him.

Same re: Villaraigosa. We knew what an idiot he was BEFORE the FIRST term. Complaining about him late in his SECOND term makes people look like morons.

We don't need the police at our tree lighting events. The ones in Eagle Rock and Herman are attended by very well behaved people and there is no reason for an LAPD presence.

6:31pm Its not that people mishave at the events its all window dressing for Huizar and all the city council members who waste resources for themselves. Notice how the Failure of a Mayor always intrudes on press conferences at any photo op he can invade. Huizar DEMANDS that LAPD be there for HIM to pretend and look good. Community members all over the city know and support their cops and will tell you cops can't stand the Mayor or city council members.

Higby, "noone" is saying you can't have god. But make no mistake. WE don't need god. YOU need god. OTHERS may or may not need god.

But don't start saying WE need something when it's not true. Many of us are self-sufficient and don't need the crutch. I have no problem if you do, though. To each his own.

And on that note, WE cannot HAVE god at the PUBLIC EXPENSE. It's a little thing called "Separation of Church and State."

With respect to "The Greatest Story Ever Told," I will put the O.J. murders up against any story. The story of religion has resulted in more deaths and persecution on this planet than any other, bar none.

Uh, what about the immaculate conception? You believe that crap? How exactly did that happen?

You believe in Santa Claus too, Higby? What about the Easter Bunny? Do you believe in Jimmy Stewart's bunny Harvey, too?

I suppose you believe in leprechauns! Ha ha ha, lol, good one!

I don't need god, Higby, so leave me out of it. I think religion is a crutch, and the leading cause of human death and suffering in the history of the world. Don't force your views on people who don't want it, and I sure don't need you praying for me.

Geeze, how did these religious, Christianity, fairy tale and God lines evolve from a tree lighting ceremony?
People are ingesting too much of something.

Tree lighting ceremonies have nothing to do with the above -there's no fir trees in the middle east.

Uh, tree lighting in the winter season. What does that make you think of? Easter? Fourth of July?

No, idiot, it makes you think of Christmas. A religious holiday. Someone commented that it shouldn't be done on the public dime. And then Chubbie said "we" all need God. And those of us who are atheists or agnostics challenged his veracity. "WE" don't need religion or god. Only "SOME" do. Then I chimed in, in agreement, that religion is a crutch.

its really sad and unfortunate some adults behave so badly. Many people have said if more people and parents had spirituality in their lives our society wouldn't be as screwed up as it is. Its not be fanactic but I remember growing up more people believe in the power of prayer and over the years its gone out of their lives and look at our world.

6:28, it was "God" allowing his priests to rape children, and have the church cover it up for generations, and paying out hundreds of millions of dollars as a result, that lost me.

Think about the suicides these children committed as a result of these RAPES, and how everyone from the Popes, to the Cardinals and Bishops, who covered it up.

Think about Roger Mahoney covering up these CHILD RAPES.

How come the prayers of these children weren't answered?

Where was the power of prayer for them?

Child. Rape. By the thousands. Suicides. Misery. And the church protecting them.

How about the church having to sell properties to pay them off? That's where church money has gone.

If you can't be good for the sake of being good, then all the prayer in the world isn't going to help.

Prayer, if you think of it, is self-serving. You're praying for something good in your life to happen. Or for bad things to stop. Why not just live a good life? Those children were living good, innocent lives. Until they were RAPED.

God wasn't there for them. That's because there is no god. Believe the fairy tale if you want. But stop pushing it on others.

Who voted for Huizar? I don't believe people voted for his smile! It is very sad the choices of the voters in CD14, to continue to vote for people that have no respect for our communities. Huizar continues to take credit for the East Goldline, that is a joke, lets give credit to Roybal and the RAC. He takes credit for the new schools in BH? help me list the credits that he is responsible for. 1. The continued approval of new liquor licenses in Boyle Heights, when fact have been presented to him of approximately 249 liquor licenses and still going strong. 2. Credit for total transperancy on rehab for drug and alcohol in BH,there is no such registry in Boyle Heights, yet we have the highest Rehab homes for drug and alcohol establishment during the last six years. And why are this Drug and Alcohol establishments not listed on ADP permits. 3. Ask Huizar how many more developers are setting house to build more Drug and alcohol Rehab residences, try 1st and Lorena. Why plague our community of all these and more. 4. Child molester, rapist may not have to register in resideing in these Drug Rehav homes. What else can we give hime credit that really belongs to him? Please use your vote wisely, we need a representative that at least respects the communities. 5. Credit for not having community forums in BH. what more. Yes, I am voting for Rudy Martine-CD14, lets bring change needed in CD14. THANK YOU

just wanted to say that huizzy's first term was for 2 years - most of which he spent trying to pick up where antonio left off - of course trying to figure out who the major players were in the eagle rock and boyle heights area and spending lots of time getting his "developers" fund raising list ready - rudy martinez included in that group. the last four years have been the true picture of what he is NOT able to do as a representative of CD14 - one who does not care for what is good for the community but only what is good for him. he is not even in tune with how to help his communities with necessary changes including bringing economic development to any of the areas in CD14. if we re-elect him to another 4 years, we are as guilty as he is for not improving the district; if we elect rudy we are to blame for allowing a carbon copy of huizar step into his place. if we allow the mayor to interfere in the race we will have huizar do another four years of NOTHING. however, we can make the next bafoon who gets elected accountable for change - the kind of change that is not RED SNOT, or JOSE AGUILAR, or any other "looney toone" driven. as jose aguilar makes his move to be on huizar payroll, red snot gets ready to post more nonsense; as the boyle heights ass kissers get ready to put on their walking shoes, we will have people like mago (cpab co chair) continue to get paid to sell out the community of boyle heights; forget eagle rock all those "entitled" residents who all that they have to do is say "jose jump" and he says "how high" - and of course el sereno - the bastard child of the district for EVER... DID I SAY FOR EVER.....forget princeton, it does not take a very smart person to figure out that only a community like el sereno gets left out because no one cares enough to demand respect AND ACCOUNTABILITY. forget CLARTS, AND ANY OTHER FUNDS, you will never get the answers... maybe you should ask the deputy chief of staff... she know what those funds are for... and stop trying to deal with the chief of staff...please respect is not part language and talking down to people is her "major assett". that's all... for now.... and yes, don't ask huizar's staff do anything for your community right now because they will ask you for an endorsement card...beware!
