Rally to address Broken Parole System in California

"Important Rally to attend this Saturday"
Blogger's note: From Ron Kaye. A march and rally will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in El Sereno from 1974 N. Marianna Ave. to the 1800 block of Landsdowne Ave to demand an investigation of the Division of Adult Parole Operation and that those responsible for the breakdown in parole supervision be held accountable. Attorney Robin Sax, a former county prosecutor and expert on rape and child molestation issues, is the featured speaker. As a Board Member of the LA-32 Neighborhood Council, I implore everyone to attend this rally, in the hope of reversing the unlawful acts of dumping Sex Offenders in our community. Scott Johnson, Recording Secretary, LA-32 Neighborhood Council.
From Caroline Aguirre, Retire Parole Agent:
On the date and time of the horrific Halloween murder of little Aaron Shannon Jr., one of his accused killers, Leonard Hall, was on Active Parole Supervision for Possession of Controlled Substance and Disregard for Safety> He was being supervised at next to the lowest level of parole by Control Services out of the Huntington Park 2 parole unit.
Hall, 21, had a Special Condition of Parole that forbid him to associate with known Kitchen Crips Gang members like Marcus Denson, 18,.his alleged accomplice in the murder of this innocent child.
This is what is so troubling surrounding his parole supervision -- a pattern of repeated breakdowns in the system that allowed oarolee Phillip Garrido to be free to enslave Jaycee Dugard for nine yeaqr, parolee John Albert Gardner to murder and rape Amber Dubois and Chelsea King, parolee Charles Samuel to kill Lily Burk, parolee Omar Armando Loera to murder Chere Osmanhodzic in her Valley Village home last summer.
On Oct. 15, Hall was arrested for robbery, according to parole documents. No formal criminal charges were filed and Hall was released from custody on Oct. 22.
The question is: Did the assigned parole agent do a case review with the parole unit supervisor?
Review of Hall's parole face sheet notes that he is a documented hard core gang member.
In the past if one was arrested on a serious or violent charge like robbery, his parole supervision level would have been increased to a higher level for at least a three month period even if no criminal charges were filed.
Public Safety is no longer a concern and a priority for the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation and the Division of Adult Parole Operations.
As you can see with parolee Hall, this lax parole supervision policy allowed Hall to continue to associate with his Home Boys, have possession of a loaded forearm and then take the life of an innocent 5 year old child.
Where is the public outcry? Where is the accountability? Where is the Governor? Why do these parole administrators continue to have their jobs ? How many more Innocent people have to die? How many more Innocent victims have to suffer at the hands of parolees?
Your thoughts...............

What about the parolee who killed the officer from Riverside a few days ago? This guy has a bigger rap sheet and more parole violations than Leonard Hall.

So many things are broken in this state, it's sadly not surprising this is one of them.

THIS IS THE CRAP THE CLOWNCILS ARE GOING TO DO. They're going to fuck up our city again and have the pot shops get robbed and more homicides. They are the biggest losers in the nation
"""At least some of the hundreds of pot shops that were outlawed by the L.A. City Council are probably out of the woods: The body on Friday voted to start a process that will amend its dispensary ordinance so that about 180 cannabis retailers would be allowed to stay open.""
