This is the city: Los Angeles, California. I work here. I'm an ex-mayor. Los Angeles is a magnet for people from all over the world. Some of them run for public office. Inevitably some of them stray from the golden rule and rule for those that have the gold. That's when I go to work. My name is Yorty. I'm a dead pol.

Galatzan is about to announce that she's going to run again for the school board. Guess she's not going after Krekorian's council seat. Smart move. She'll just wait it out until the next opportunity for "promotion", unless somebody takes her on now.

CNN is reporting that Democrat turnout for November's election is going to be a "historic low."
Not good for the Socialistic ideologies.

Phil,
If you had behaved like a grown up your Congressional campaign, you may be packing your bags to move to DC right now.
But your childish behavior taunting or thieving from:
- The Westside Republicans
- James Andion
- Steven Box
- Your silly commentaries
Has cost you dearly. It is now the time for Conservatives to take over. But since you consistently act like a child, you're not going to be a part of the movement.
You had a chance to be a part of it. If only you had been taught to get along with others.
Your childish "Nope, I'm not going to return the URL as promised" comment is what did it for me. It was at that point that I realized that you don't have the ability to get along with others.
Your positions are often on the money. But it's your behavior that cost you. You'll have to settle for watching it all unfold from your living room TV.

Conservatives ARE going to take over in November.
Obama has revealed the heart of darkness that fuels the left.
Voters are horrified by the government seizures , bailouts and threats.
I will be in a great position on Nov 3rd.

Phil,
November 3 is one day after the election. How would you be in great position THEN, but not NOW?
You've already finished in last place, multiple times. Not for your conservative views, but for your childish behavior.
Remember: for the Congressional race, you came in third place to a CONSERVATIVE, or at least someone who positioned himself as one.
You're not part of the conservative wave because of your views. It's because you've proven many, many times that you're incapable of getting along with others.
Also, your blog shows that you have an impetuous, childish way of communicating. You're disagreeable, meaning that you don't know how to get along with others.
How are you going to be in great shape on November 3rd if you've got a history of collossal failure and consistent quitting, and you haven't even told us what your platform is?
Remember: the last time you tried to answer the "platform" question, your response pertained to things that are not within a councilmember's reach. You can't win an election against a popular, though stupid, councilmember if you don't even know what the job responsibilities are.
And I'm someone who generally agrees with your conservative views. It's your BEHAVIOR that forever marked you as an incapable person.

11:40, I don't mean to point out how dumb you are, but here goes....
YES, I finished in last place in my primary, but I only lost by about 1,500 votes. I got outspent by Andion. If I had more money, I would have won.
James Andion is going to get beat like a drum against Karen Bass anyway, so what was his point in running? I had longer term goals beyond that run. I don't think he does.
He's 60 and he will be a two-time Congressional election loser on Nov. 3rd.
There are going to be many new Congress members in a month from now. I met a bunch of them at CPAC in February. They are going to change our future. No more stupid ideas from Obama. That's over.
Steve Cooley will be Attorney General in 30 days. Then Nuch will move up to District Attorney in 2 years. Things are going to change around here. I can't wait.

Phil,
You came in THIRD place.
You didn't just lose to James Andion, you also lost to the second place person.
IF, if, IF. If you didn't act like a dickhead and a douchebag, you'd have had that money you needed.
And this is where your deception about the Recall money comes in to play. You first told us you raised $200,000 for the Recall, but you can't explain where it went. After months of asking you about it, you THEN said NONE of it came in. But oddly, you went gambling with $10,000 and a rental car of a "sweet" Mustang, before the Recall was over.
In short, you didn't have the money you needed because people didn't trust you on the money front.
That's where your gambling and poor reputation precede and color everything you do.
Last is last, and excuses are excuses.

Phil @ 5:32pm,
I think the commenter's point is that if you hadn't alienated so many people on the Republican side, such as your alienation of The Westside Republicans, of which I'm a member, you maybe would have done better.
In other words, instead of watching the coming tide of Republicans and conservatives with envy from your couch, you could have been a part of it.
Yes, I believe Cooley will win HANDILY. I not only contributed to his campaign, I'm an Asst DA on his staff.
Moreover, even the way you answered that question, by calling the commenter stupid or dumb, is a sign that you're not to be trusted when communicating with people with whom you're supposed to win the favor of.
I too witnessed your behavior on the Andion URL situation, and the commenter was right. Instead of doing the right thing (returning it to the Andion campaign), or just sitting on it and being quiet, you WROTE ABOUT IT ON YOUR BLOG! That's the equivalent of robbing a bank, and then talking about it on one's Facebook page.
There are enough stupid people in politics. But in your case, you get to watch it all from the sidelines.
Since I know you're incapable of taking constructive criticism, you may have the last word. I'm not replying to you any further.
Phil Jennerjahn said:
7:58 I can take criticism with the best of them.
I have never claimed to be a perfect candidate. I find those people a bit boring anyway.
About the Andion thing, "return" the URL?
It was mine from the start. He never registered it.
Then he spent thousands advertising it.
Sent people to a website that told people to vote for me.
That's kind of dumb, don't you think?
If he can get outhustled by me, who had almost no money and no staff... what do you think Karen Bass will do to him?
There are lots of Republicans who support Meg next month. I don't care for her.
In the long run, people will remember who held the line and who sold out.
The sellouts won't be in power in the future.
