This is the city: Los Angeles, California. I work here. I'm an ex-mayor. Los Angeles is a magnet for people from all over the world. Some of them run for public office. Inevitably some of them stray from the golden rule and rule for those that have the gold. That's when I go to work. My name is Yorty. I'm a dead pol.

Hilarious! I'm referring to the "Hi, IMA TEA PARTIER!" animation, not the breaking news.
It is always gratifying to be proven right, and I cannot wait to see the appropriate response, "Hi IMA MOVE ON DOT ORG MEMBER AND MY ASS HURTS" which is in production and due for release this weekend.
There has been a slight delay as our director has been hit with a SLAPP lawsuit (Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation), seeking to halt the movie's production with a "cease and desist" letter claiming that any criticism whatsoever of the Obama administration is defamatory, especially with regard to any mention of "birth certificates," and questions over whether Obama actually lives in the White House.
Our lawyers assure us that we will prevail, as attempts to stifle free speech by using expensive lawsuits is unconstitutional and undemocratic, but we still need to find about a hundred grand to pay them. George Soros has not returned calls for help, and Meg Whitman's a little short of cash at the moment.
But all is not lost, and as that old fart used to say "Stay tuned for news!"

Joe,
What do you think of the New York Times, a very liberal outlet, already writing off Harry Reid?
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/10/29/us/politics/29schumer.html?_r=1&hp
They're talking about Chuck Schumer waiting in the wings to be Senate majority leader. That is, they expect Harry Reid to be beaten down by Sharron Angle.
What say you?

“Political Parties are not the solution they are the problem.” John Adams
“Divide and conquer”
If we don’t wake up soon to the games the top of the pyramid is playing on us by the time we realize it, it will be too late. We waste our energies fighting about who’s fault is it or who is right. IT DOESN’T MATTER. Both parties have the same agenda but you don’t notice because you are too busy outdoing each other or watching “American Idol.’’
Your vote carries a huge responsibility and shouldn’t be giving without educating yourself first. Your vote will affect not just you but thousands if not millions of others. It should not be giving because of your allegiance to your party but to the best candidate. And after the elections you need to hold them accountable.
