No Armenians Welcome at this Apartment Complex?
Update: Peter informs us: "The landlord called me at 10:20 tonight and said the sign is down and she had nothing to do with it. I believe her. She was nice and genuinely upset."

That looks like a prank. The handwriting doesn't match.

Yep. Some asshole scribbled it on the lady's sign. So good that the owner isn't doing that but bad there is still some asshole that did that.

Yep.

Peter should have never reported that story. Stupid.

I'm confused, did this blog put up something else to report the subject before it was exposed as a prank?
All I see is your update without any explanation about what went on before the update.
Maybe you should take it down altogether because I looked at the previous posts column and saw this. If you were pranked, you should probably take it down.
Higby, you like Paul Krekorian, and should have known better than to get involved in this garbage.

I agree. The handwriting does not match.

As always...I am not writing anonymously.
I am astonished that anyone, even the omnipresent agenda-driven hacks & haters of Mayor Sam, would criticize the reporting of this story.
The story is not a prank, but the motivation MIGHT have been: like a couple of 13-year-old boys trying to stir things up.
But, what would that suggest, even if they were just immature troublemakers? What would that say about how one or a handful of teenagers think about Armenian-Americans? These are kids living in a nice, tree-lined suburban community. They shouldn't be vandalizing signs with anti-Armenian hate speech. They shouldn't be spraying swastikas on synagogues. And, they shouldn't be engaging in written, verbal or physical violence against blacks, Latinos, the LGBT community or anyone else for that matter.
Those anonymous individuals, who criticized the reporting of this story, or simply dismissed the story as irrelevant, should look into their souls on this one.
The reporting of this story led to the sign coming down. Who can argue with that result?"
Hats off to the Burbank Police Department and the Burbank Chapter of the Armenian National Committee.

Maybe the lady did not place that on her sign however it was there. Does anyone know how long it was there ? I would say she had better keep a better eye on her sign because at the very least this is a rather racist neighborhood.
Thanks for reporting it, racism should always be exposed.

Hey, Mursurlian, you dickbag.
What has any of this to do with Gatto?
Why did you post this on your "I Hate Gatto for Defeating Nahabidian" facebook page?
And what sort of "journalist" are you, reporting this before you confirmed with the apartment owner? Just cannot get enough of your own victimization?
Anonymous said:
7:57 what did Musurlian say about Gatto in his post? I didn't catch that. Sounds like you're fishing for a fight or to stir things up? Can't we all just get along?
Whatever the motivation of the piece, it's still sad that there are people in this community that target specific groups with hateful messages.

Musurlian posted this on his dishonest youtube page that he has titled "MikeGatto2010" in which he deposits his various slanders against the guy who defeated not one, but two candidates that little Peetie supported.
So the slander continues, regardless of the absolute lack of association between this apartment complex and Mike.
Mursurlian has no clue what a journalist is. He called the apartment owner AFTER publicizing the "documentary"?
Yeah. There are people out there that don't like Armenians. Or blacks or Latinos or Jews.
Somebody scribbling on a for rent sign in front of a four unit apartment building is clearly cause to call the Feds. Let's produce a "documentary"!
Yawn.

It's amazing how much inaccurate, untrue, hate speech an immature person with Internet access can spew, especially when he or she is anonymous.
I guess it's cheaper than seeing a shrink.
Anonymous, anonymous, anonymous......
Impressive, impressive, impressive....

But how about if the sign said no Armenyans, that would be OK right?
