BREAKING NEWS: Villaraigosa Ticketgate?
One of our friends in the media tips us off that Fox 11 News at 10 PM may be airing a piece reporting that Mayor Villaraigosa allegedly accepted free tickets from AEG for sporting events and failing to report them as gifts in ethics filings.

It would be funny if they were for the Lakers vs the Suns - in Phoenix.
Just saw the Fox 11 - reporter says Villar gets free front row tickets for Lakers games from AEG for himself and girlfriend and does not report them as gifts as required. Also seems to violate city ethics rule against accepting gifts from companies who lobby the city. Villar looked like deer in the headlights when the reporter confronted him.
Why is it that you can't find our Mayor unless it is a publicity event, then there he is.

Why so much when the:

Vice President $212k
People in Congress $160k+
How is it that the Mayor is always out doing things that we can't and while he keeps raising fees. Tickets etc.
I hope he gets busted, for taking bribes from lobbiests.

If you need money in LA, than you guys should make your unemployed and people receiving government money submit to a drug test before getting their govt help.

The Fox report made it seem like when he said he didn't have to report the tickets if he had other business, and he made a minor award to some school kid at the event to justify he was doing business, it's a game where it may be technically legal but not the intent of the law.
And for darn's sake those smug photos of Lu Parker looking like the cat that ate the canary don't help!
Did anyone also notice how much time Mayor Parkervillar spends at Dodgers games? Wonder if he is official business at those games?
