For those of you in Council District 2 out in the San Fernando Valley, you might have already received this mailer informing you that the popular former Council Member from Council District 2 - Wendy Greuel - is supporting Christine Essel in the special election to replace her on the City Council.

All reidents talked to by people knocking on doors are furious about that vote and do not want these dangerous felons in their neighborhood.
What was Paul thinking aobut when he cast his vote?

Hey Essel plant, where's your proof of this accusation? There isn't any and you know damn well that Krekorian did not vote to release prisoners early. WARNING: Essel's campaign continutes to lie and lie some more.

Mayor Greuel and Councilmember Essel will bring a much needed touch to the City of Los Angeles. The Boys Club better get used to putting down the tolit seat around ctiy hall.
The residents of CD2 stand to gain a step up over the rest of the city having Wendy as Mayor and Christine to back her up. Go Ladies!

6:31 AM doesn't seem to get that just because Essel has never run for office doesn't mean she's not going to do exactly what they (the politicians who are trying to get her elected) tell her to do.
Being a career politician doesn't make you a bad politician. Some are good and some are bad.
In the case of CD 2, the people who want Essel in are the people who have no conscience.
So to the residents of CD 2, vote your conscience and don't let developers, real career politicians (as opposed to a school board member turned assemblyman), and the various chambers of commerce twist the issue and make you believe that Essel is a simple down home gal waiting to just get on in there and do the right thing while using Palinesque phrases like Darn Tootin'.
Paul Krekorian is the best thing for the entire city of Los Angeles and therefore, the residents of CD 2 are holding the rest of us our political lives in their hands.

Go ladies, or you'll end up doing nothing but cleaning "tolit" seats. Don't let women like the poster above set you back. Sometimes a womAn is the best person for the elected position. Unless you're Chris Essel and running against Paul Krekorian, then...not so much. She'll ruin your district, the valley and the rest of the city.
She just needs a job. She can find one in this economy. We don't need her around the horseshoe.
1:02, stop with the bra burning. What the hell does gender have to do with it? I'm a woman and see through the ruse of those two. Besides, it's the Mayor pulling the strings of these two puppets. And it's about who is the best qualified, period! And they aren't. Wendy consistently sold us down the river in CD2, now as we find out, because of her ties to not just the Mayor but to developers and downtown lobbyists. Ask the community leaders who fought the city ordinance (re SB1818), and about local developments where neighborhoods got screwed. Where was Wendy? Voting against us. Ask Studio City about their DWP category and the Metro-Universal development. Ask North Hollywood about the Snyder development on Laurel Canyon, ask Valley Glen about the Barbara Ann development. Ask Sherman Oaks NC and Van Nuys NC about the breakaway group, allowed to join Sherman Oaks. I could go on and on with examples but I'm getting nauseous just thinking about Wendy's betrayal.
Essel is cut from the same cloth but with a lot less knowledge of CD2, A LOT LESS!! No thanks! Say no to special interests, lobbyists, PAC money, etc. Both Wendy and Chris Essel have dirty hands and we mustn't let them wipe them on us.
Vote no to big money, corruption and Chris Essel. Vote yes for Paul Krekorian, the only person (gender neutral as it must be) qualified to serve our best interest.
1:02, so the next time you need a surgeon, you'll go to a female doctor rather than a male surgeon, right? Let me know as I have a great female dentist. I'm sure she can perform that appentectomy just fine.
