Craig X. Rubin free! Marijuana activists celebrate!
Reports are circulating back to Mayor Sam that high-profile Cannabis Advocate and former Mayoral Candidate Craig X. Rubin has been released from police custody following his arrest on marijuana related charges.
Mayor Sam will attempt to contact Craig X. Rubin to get his side of the story in what some cannabis activists are saying was a politically motivated arrest.

Do you really think anyone gives a shit about Craig X. Rubin? He's almost as unsuccessful as you Phil!
He had the nerve to make some noise, and nuch doesn't like noise unless he's making it himself because he has a monopoly on making noise. And people like Rubin aren't too happy about the medical marijuana community being used to elect nooch who promised to be compassionate and support their cause and give them big huge hugs just like in his pre- election fake photo ops.
And these darn people have the nerve to show up at meetings like couple weeks ago, the NC meeting at City Hall, and put him on the spot about it for all to see, then they don't shut up and sit down and go home and feed their kids Raid and lead when he tells them to! Jane Usher gets really mad too when people don't "understand" he's abusing power and crosses lines for THEIR OWN GOOD!
And poor David Berger, the boot-licking Brit who gives a lie to the notion that the nation is civilized, riding around in that armored tank with the Nooch and bodyguards on our dime, both of them wearing dark shades and carrying on making threats like some Mexican drug cartel, having to tell Steve Lopez they've got to sneak away because those danged dangerous potheads are lying in wait for the Nooch! Who do they think they are, to defy such pompously self-important bullies?
Craig may be "almost as unsuccessful as you Phil!" but he made noise and won't disappear on his own and that MuST be stopped at all costs.
Dictatorships tend to wither away when they're exposed to the light. You gotta get the trouble-makers out of the way fast as possible, and nowhere is more out of sight than jail. And think of it as a make-work project for his friends and Cooley's at the Prison Guards Union.
Don't mess with Berger or Nuch; both are humorless and will hurt you.
Just as the city celebrates cleaning up LAPD's bullying image over 7 slow and difficult years, we have this spectacle, a power-abusing, self-serving and vengeful city attorney in cahoots with the DA "to hurt" people who don't bend to their own political and wasteful agendas.
