Geez will I be glad when this inconsequential "special" election for a fill-in minor, junior CM position is over with. To read this blog, you'd think it was the only thing going on in the city.
This player is going to be assigned the least important committee posts, sit silently for a couple years, and make no dent in anything that happens in L.A.
That's always the way of these term-finishers. They start fundraising for the full term the minute they get in office, and they're useless to their constituents for the balance of their time until then.
I forgot that the only thing Mayor Sam's readers can do is (badly) handicap elections.
What's next, "The Road to 2011"? Where in the World will "Wal-Dogg" carpetbagg to next and muck up the electoral process?

Does anyone know what Red Spot is trying to say? I ran it through the Elmer Fudd reverse dialectizer and it still made no sense.
I think "Tamar win the heart of a Spot" is Red Spot's way of announcing he's finally over Mirthala and has moved on to Galatzan as the new object of his affection. I could be wrong though.
Not convinced, 12:55. I think he's thanking Michael for a bag of tamari roasted almonds that really hit the spot.
Entirely possible, 1:10. Either way, I hope Red Spot gets throat punched for the Szabo comparison.
