Morning Briefs and Outtakes on Opening Day of "Summer Night Lights"

"Plead with me for donations"
In the voice of Cheech Marin, "Vatos y Vatas, its time for Summer Night Lights in the Barrio!!"
Yes, coming to an barrio, ghetto, or high crime hood near you is Eric Garcetti's, errrrr, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa's second year collaboration with Los Angeles Recreation and Parks that extends park hours to midnight in 16 targeted neighborhoods.
One new winkle in this years program according to sources, is the hiring of "Summer Night Lights Advocates" who are paid $6,000 for eight weeks of work. And what is the main job responsibility of these advocates ?? Spinning the virtues of the Mayor's program!! One wonder if Matt Szabo will train these 16 x $6,000 Advocates on the "Art of Spin" ??
**For those "Cut and Paste Commandos in CD-14", lets play who is the latest to be deleted from Councilman Jose Huizar's City Hall staff contacts.
City Hall Office Staff
Ana Cubas, Chief of Staff(Ana.Cubas@lacity.org)
Francine Godoy, Deputy Chief of Staff(Francine.Godoy@lacity.org)
Rick Coca, Director of Communications(Rick.Coca@lacity.org)
Andrea Sotelo, Executive Assistant & Scheduler(Andrea.Sotelo@lacity.org)
Arturo Gonzalez, District Director(Arturo.Gonzalez@lacity.org)
Multiple Choice for LAUSD Grads.
A. Joe Avila
B. Alvin Parra
C. Henry Casas
D. Irantzu Pujadas
E. Belinda Ortiz
F. Peter Hidalgo
G. Amy Yeager
H-Z, plus Alpha, Beta .................., fill in the blanks.
.........and BTW, when was former Deputy Chief of Staff Henry Casas taken off the Contact List and why ???
** Ron Kaye has a great post on the latest efforts of the political elites to carpetbag their way into a City Council seat. This time the likes of Chris Essel and Paul Krekorian, with "supporting baggage" head to CD-2 to sell themselves to Special Interests,........ then the voters.
** Jan Perry for Mayor in 2013 ?? I want a "Double, Double of Ya right!", with a side order of "Mc No Chance!!", washed down with some "Shaky Dealings on Grand Avenue", to go.....
** As the likes of Mayor Villaraigosa's "Third Floor Spin Chamber" spokesperson Matt Zsabo fronts and spins the virtues of "civic begging", LA Weekly's Tibby Rothman reports on the growing cost.
Then there is this from those "corporate welfare junkies" at AEG.
A typical L.A. resident who sought to hold an event that would cause massive traffic and other disruptions would be treated entirely differently, required to apply for a Los Angeles City permit that could hold them liable for policing, street closure and clean-up costs.
According to Villaraigosa's office, AEG did not even bother to file that basic permit for the MJ Memorial. We're still checking on whether this fact means that city taxpayers are legally stuck with the liabilities.

Someone needs to pay for this in cash, or be held accountable if caught fronting for these arrogant fools at AEG, are you listening on the Third Floor ??

Your thoughts......

GREAT STUFF TODAY. People beware I have a feeling the paypal donations meant for public safety is goung to be funneled into the sham Summer Night Lights. Residents will tell you its a joke. Why is the funding on the council agenda today if it is suppose to be paid with PRIVATE DONATIONS? Didn't Antonio already say he $1 million for it at press conference two weeks ago

Those Perez Hilton comments are classic. Really shows what the tax payers of this city think of the weirdos running it are.

My $$$ is on Ana "Cuba Libre" Cubas. Chief of Staff's dont seem to last very long in that office. In Fact (5) Chief of Staffs in 3 years in office is just crazy!! What is Huizar running over there, a circus? Doesn't he know that he is the laughing stock of City Hall. Not only with the other offices but with departments too.

Idiot Phil, it's not Villaraigosa's decision WHO is in charge when he's away -- it's a matter of succession as determined by the City Council, based on who they elect as President Pro Tem and 2nd Pro Tem. Which is Idiot Bald Buffoon Zine -- who's ALSO responsible and since he's the errand boy for Trutanich who was kept up to date from the moment he was sworn in a week ago should have HELPED Perry instead of letting her take the fall on her own so he and Trutanich can beat their chests and pretend to barge in to "save the day all alone."

But of course you know less than nothing about how the city's run, which is why you felt qualified to be Mayor, I guess. Nothing like starting at the maximum level of your incompetence. Joining your friends Zine and Trutanich.

henry casas doesn't count. we ran him out of the valley for being two-faced and violent. it was time before he was run out of the eastside.

Henry Casas is NOT wanted in the Eastside of Los Angeles. Huizar too for that matter. The pendejo Huizar does not have the know how to hire and/or run an office. He sucks BIG TIME!

He has had so many staff members that it's ridiculous. Some of them are big time frauds who claim they have college degrees but in actuality do NOT.

Henry Casas is still on payroll so in that case we, the people of LA who pay Huizar's salary and Casa's salary need to run them both out of town!

Here is another bullshit move from Huizar. Several weeks ago there were two homicides on the eastside and a $75,000 reward was initiated at City Council by Jose Huizar for one of the victims who happened to be the boyfriend of Huizar's mother?

Ah? DO you know where your taxes are being spent?

Huizar = Village Idiot from Mexico!
Casas = Village Idiot from No Where!

Basta A La Chingada!

Just what WON'T park & "wrecks" do for L.A.'s finest illegal aliens and gang members? Midday they're giving away free lunches and snacks to any anchor baby up to 18 yrs.old (but many way older take advantage) and then they're keeping the lights on good and late "so young people will have a safe place to be" say all the PC newsmen. More like a nice, well-lit place to get mugged!

Cypress Park had the kickoff on Wednesday night with a loud band playing to 11:00PM. There were plenty of city workers standing around getting paid for doing nothing.

And, why have a loud band playing that late? Don't they know that some people have to work and some of us pay taxes? I guess they have no consideration for neighbors that live near the park. Of, course the city wants to do what it wants to do and no one can do a thing about it.

So, the city throws a party with free food and loud music on a weeknight when some people want peace and quiet. This event is meant for those on welfare and those that do not have to work.

Taxpayers do not count.

Welcome back "Crazy" Susan from Cypress Park, the woman who never met an audible sound she didn't hate.

You should be glad if these loud noises drown out some of the "extra" voices in your head -the ones that keep telling you "God wants you to attack your neighbors' way of life" and that you'll be warning the police about someday soon, after you've shot up a crowded local restaurant and killed 12 people.

Until then, buy some earplugs and STF up!

Why doesn't that person that likes noise give me their address so I can have some noisy motorcycles run by their home for a few hours everyday non stop. Or, how about having someone with music they hate stand outside their home blasting it for hours on end?

This person does not understand the meaning of noise. And, noise is a mental disorder so they must have a mental disorder for liking noise. And, noise is also a means of torture. Just ask homeland security. Noise is noise. Learn what it is.

Get an education!!
