Breaking News!!! Dodgers Manny Ramirez suspended 50 games for positive drug test
What are the odds on seeing Mayor Villar or staffers at Dodger Stadium in the near future after this shocker ?? Manny Ramirez has tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs and will be suspended 50 games starting today, The Times has learned.
Ramirez is expected to attribute the test results to medication received from a doctor for a personal medical issue, according to a source familiar with matter but not authorized to speak publicly.
With the suspension taking effect with tonight's game against the Washington Nationals at Dodger Stadium, Ramirez will not be eligible to return to the team until July 3.

the readers have no respect for Higby anymore, if they ever did.
What is more evident is that Higby is just putting out doobies like Wet Spot and Phil Genderjane, and mary cummins rumors instead of interesting information.

Higby grew tired of babysitting the blog and was probably itching to go outside of his cave.Showing up a few times each week for these ridiculous subjects can wear anyone down. He has been mailing it in for a long time now. If he had any respect for anyone here, he would admit it and not try to cover for the dim lights that contribute comments which, I admit, includes me.I am done with this place. when was the last time anything of note or breaking substnace was ever read here? I can't remember

I can't believe Manny Ramirez was busted for sexual enhancement drugs. Don't you think he would consult a doctor who knows the drugs that are on the MLB OK List? What a moron.

I had never heard of that substance but if it has a high estrogen component it is consistent with something that juicers would take after going off their cycle.
The rules are the rules but I do wish him the best.
I have made *a few* mistakes in my life so I can't judge him. I feel blessed that the national media wasn't around to cover them ;)
