Guys, it was a foreshock for the shock wave that's going to hit around 9:00pm on Wednesday night.

All the phony baloney propositions are going to fail, Jack Weiss gets his ass handed to him on a plate, and in CD5, Paul Koretz finds out that there's no place like home having run a campaign almost as dirty as Jack Weiss.

If you want to find out how unprepared our city leaders are for an earthquake just ask EXACTLY how the Emergency Management Division intends to house everybody.

Would you believe the job has been left up to Recreation and Parks!!

What a disaster Villaraigosa and the council have made this city.

Are the morons on clowncil going to approve yet another corrupt Villaraigosa appointee?

Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa has nominated Thomas S. Sayles, an appointee at the city's Industrial Development Authority, to fill a seat on the five-member commission that oversees the Department of Water and Power.

Another week and Higby has abdicated his throne! This blog is dead.

Think about this. It's Monday, and the latest update on the blog is something we all knew about: the earthquake.

Maybe Red Snot can post yet another update on the Los Angeles Magazine cover, so Phil "Unemployed" Genderjane can steal the idea and write about THAT again.

Bye Higby. It was good knowing ya.

HERE ME NOW!! THIS STATE IS TOTALLY UNPREPARED FOR A 8 MAGNITUDE EARTHQUAKE WE DON'T HAVE HOSPITALS, WATER, WASTE DISPOSAL, AND EMERGENCY CREWS TO HANDLE ALL THE DISPLACED AND INJURED PEOPLE. THE TRUTH HURTS BUT THIS IS THE TRUTH. FEMA AND STATE FINANCIAL RESOURCES ARE NOT THERE TO FIX OR REBUILD THIS STATE. WE'VE NEEDED A FUND WITH RESERVE FOR YEARS THIS IS WHY I FOR ONE HAVE FOUGHT FOR SAVING MONEY FOR THIS PURPOSE. ANYWAY AN 8 MAGNITUDE QUAKE LASTS FOR 2-3 MINUTES AT A CONTINUOUS FORCE FOR THAT PERIOD. LIKE NOTHRIDGE BUT STRONGER FOR MANY MINUTES NOT A 20- 30 SECONDS. THERE ARE THINGS YOU CAN DO TO PREPARE AND WATER IS VITAL AS IS WASTE THE CALIFORNIA QUAKE PREPARENESS SITE CAN HELP.
