Emails Show Moore Controller Candidate Evans in Bizarre Situation
An investigation by the Sister City has discovered that there was reportedly some disagreement between Evans and Saltsburg following Evans allegedly sending the following email to approximately 200 local Republicans:
No offense here, but have you heard this guy speak? and have you seen him? Yuk!!! He needs a bath and a mother or wife to take care of him.
If you are voting for the loudest candidate he would win. I have seen him numerous times because I am on the campaign trail and he's at the various forums. I would never vote for him. And I think Kevin James has him on his show for comedy relief.
Walter Moore is our best hope and choice for mayor. Zumma Dog would be a disaster.

Upon becoming aware of Evans email, Saltsburg claims he called Evans expressing disappointment with her email and left her the following message "You're running for City Controller and you can't control yourself - you look like a schlep."
The Sister City came into possession of another email from Evans, this time to Rubin himself that apparently conflicts with Rubin's claim that Saltsburg threatened Evans.

Saltsburg said he was astonished by Evans' email telling the Sister City "Could you imagine Wendy Greuel putting out a campaign piece saying another candidate is 'smelly and homeless'?"
Saltsburg continued, "This is the Walter Moore agenda, Moore's candidate Suzy Evans has teamed up with Craig Rubin to defame Zuma Dogg."
Evans did not respond to our request for a statement or a copy of Saltsburg alleged offensive message.

The team of political gurus who have the inside track on running Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa's 2010 gubernatorial campaign have just opened spiffy new headquarters ... in the City of St. Francis.
That would be SCN Public Relations, headed by Villaraigosa's former campaign manager Averell "Ace" Smith, with partnering from political strategy veterans Sean Clegg, a former deputy mayor in Los Angeles, and longtime Demo insider Dan Newman.

ZD is right about Evans. She looks like a total schlep, very unprofessional and messy. He cleaned up his act to run for mayor so he has the right to call Evans on her messy unprofessional appearance. She needs "a wife or mother to clean her up".
Imagine the loser that needs Suzy Evans to guide their vote. If you're on her email list Mayor Sam you should ask to be removed.
Craig X Rubin may have gotten himself into some legal hot water over all of this. Word on the street is that some legal experts are advising Zuma that he should sue Rubin. Whether he does, or not, those claims he filed in the police report may come back to haunt Craig.
This confirms what the Mayor Sam bloggers have been posting all along. Walter Moore is more corrupt than Villar. He doesn't want change. If he did, he would respect ZD for the three years ZD has worked for that change. Opponents or not, Walter should treat ZD with the respect he's earned advocating for change. But Walter only wants to be the LATEST corrupt POS at City Hall, so why would he give a fig about real change.
Antonio and the rest of the incumbents are laughing their a's off right now, because if this is what passes as "the competition," the powers that be don't have a thing to worry about come election day - any election day.
These irrelevent, infintile, low-brow, nanner-nanner exchanges between so-called alternative candidates is useless and boring.

Mayor Sam has the accusatory email originally sent by You-Know-Who The Wacko Loon. Maybe he didn't put it up to avoid causing more hurt to the Shaws and thier supporters. But, Sam should confirm it exists and ask the family how they felt at such betrayal. Did Walter even apologize to the family for his Wacko Loon? I'm on the email list. I didn't get anything.
I'd just like to say, that although it was no fun to see that email Suzy sent out to 500 people, I saw her sitting in the audience at the candidate forum at Henry Fonda Music Box on Saturday, and although I could be wrong, it seemed that she was smiling and affirmative during my comment time, and there was no "evil eye" or "bad vibe" stuff.
So maybe she just got caught up in the whole previous image of ZD, and felt she had to try and "spin" this huge email blast that someone sent out on my behalf, that she recieved. And as someone on Walter's ticket, it probably caused her to fire off that nasty email.
But again, everything felt fine at the forum...I left my retort message to let her know that I didn't dig the vibe...
But, in this case, even though she supports Walter for the election...I don't know what she does in the community, after the election, but when I see her in the community, she is perfectly welcomed to say "hello" and share a new story, just like everyone else.
(Not that she would want to, but I'm just saying it, just in case I was right about the vibe I got from her in the audience, that maybe I wasn't as bad as she heard. And ZD would always rather have the room have a little more of a friendly vibe.

Yeah, it's stunning, all right, in the way that only a burning cross can stun. Or, as our Hair Balls correspondent notes: "Merry Christmas from the KKK. Seriously, what were they thinking?"

TMZ's cell phone- and camera-wielding crews, which have caught Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa out on the town with fabulous women and dubbed him "Mayor Suave," aren't alone in stalking new quarry: Web sites like Hollywood.com are also getting political, posting regular red carpet photos of pols like San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom. Newsom was also nabbed on video last year in a hush-hush Malibu tete-a-tete with a political consultant. The report by L.A. paparazzi blogger Zuma Dogg ( www.zumatimes.com) tipped off Newsom's run for governor.
The trend underscores how elected officials might have to get used to a new media reality: Life could get a lot rougher as they have to deal with paparazzi-style tactics in addition to traditional reporting.
TMZ's Villaraigosa segments have shown what it called "the man of the people" emerging from pricey, star-studded Los Angeles restaurants such as Nobu, Mr. Chow and Beso. And, in what Levin's paparazzi billed as "the shot of the year," TMZ captured the potential 2010 gubernatorial candidate strolling a San Fernando shopping mall with his then-mistress, Mirthala Salinas - a segment that clearly captured the mayor's discomfort with the unexpected attention.
The trend toward chutzpah-heavy "stalkerazzi" political coverage is "both good and bad," says Democratic political consultant Garry South, who was recorded last year by Zuma Dogg during a meeting at a Malibu Starbucks with San Francisco's first couple as he began to advise Newsom on his gubernatorial campaign.
"It has politicians on notice, at least the savvy ones, that there is no privacy whatsoever anymore - not even in the bathroom at the urinal," said South. "Not if anyone else is in the room with you."
Zuma getting more press, in San Fran over that dumb story where I busted Gavin Losersome for parking in the fire lane in Malibu and meeting with crybaby-loser Gary South (see him crying about ZD busting his ass) that revealed Losersome was running for Governor. It was a BIG deal in SF at the time, and I guess it still is.
And to Gary South...YOU WERE SITTING OUTSIDE IN FRONT OF STARBUCKS ON THE SIDEWALK, WHERE THE FLOW OF PEDESTIAN MALL TRAFFIC WALKS RIGHT PAST YOU.
