Vahedi - You're Not Supposed to do This
Labels: david vahedi, illegal campaign signs
This is the city: Los Angeles, California. I work here. I'm an ex-mayor. Los Angeles is a magnet for people from all over the world. Some of them run for public office. Inevitably some of them stray from the golden rule and rule for those that have the gold. That's when I go to work. My name is Yorty. I'm a dead pol.

Hey Fatass,
Way to call out someone for something that a volunteer obviously did.
Please stop trying to create uh-oh moments. Just because the other blogs are doing their work, you shouldn't be manufacturing things that the man obviously didn't do himself.
Suppose someone took a photo of you eating your enormous meals, then posted the same title, "you're not supposed to do this," with the photo? At least in that instance, there's culpability.
I will stop calling you fatass once you stop calling people dumbass. Dumbass.

Hey, don't blame it on the campaign. They are instructing people not to do this, and David would certainly oppose this behavior. You might want to call out Adeena Bleich (and others), whose signs I have seen illegally placed everywhere I go. David has bus bench ads and legitimately placed lawn signs, and his supporters oppose advertising blight of any kind. This picture is either an example of an overzealous supporter or David is being framed by another campaign (i.e., they stole one of his signs and put it in front of the Rec Center because they knew it would create negative sentiment towards him). I expect better from you than blaming the Vahedi campaign, Mayor Sam !!

Given fatso's endorsement of robin ritter simon, it's no surprise that he posted this ill-thought post about someone other than RRS.

Anyone see the CRAZY mailer about how Paul Koretz left Sacramento with major debt? Was it paid for by Ron Galperin?

I like the fact that people say it isn't the candidates responsibility to make sure everything in their campaign is legit, especially after making such a vigorous claim at a forum. This exactly what we don't need at city hall, another person who blames other people for things that are ultimately their responsibility.
Oh yeah it isn't my fault that this city went to hell, I don't condone those actions, I just don't have control over my own campaign workers and volunteers, how am I going to have control over city hall Los Angeles, and my district.
I have a feeling those posts were made by Vahedi staff trying to cover their you know whats, those are exactly the kind of people I want in city hall, Vahedi, you just lost my vote, oh yeah and don't forget to pay up!

Yep, paid for by Galperin. Checked on it. - Galperin has no class. What a moron!

I saw some more of his signs going over the hill on Cold Water Canyon and Laruel Canyon.I hope Vehedi's ready to put his $$$$ where his mouth is...we could really use some $ for snacks and newsletters.

Mayor Sam didn't endorse Ritter-Simon? Do you read clownbake?
He's supporting Vahedi.

Ironic! David Vahedi told me earlier during a meeting this month that there was someone out there who was going around in a car stealing his signs.

Check out the video below specifically right around the 5 minute mark when Schwartz asks "Ty" who changes his name to David shortly after he lost election for this seat in 2005, maybe David helps him sound more Jewish? Not sure, anyway you can actually watch and listen to him make his $100 lawn sign comment that he obviously had no intention of following up on... something to look forward to if he is elected. Lets Hope Not!

I forgot to add the above video also has Bleich defending herself on Jack Weiss and a bunch of other pretty amusing questions and answers between the candidate, def worth watching the whole LONG 8 min vid, but specifically for Vahedi's comments...

I think Tyrone (I only use legal names) is responsible for his sign's with his name on them, not some volunteers name. If elected will he pass the buck to civil servants rather than take responsibility for his errors.
Additionally, his signs are billboards they are larger than all the others and you find them placed illegally all over the city, not just in one place. Perhaps the 400 missing signs were all on public property and then rightfully removed.
lastly, He stood up in front of a group of citizens and said I will give one hundred dollars for each lawn sign placed in the public right away. Mr. Vahedi you owe SoHA several thousands of dollars and an apology.
watch 5min in.

In my family when we don't like someone they are always either fat, short or stupid. We are all of course tall, slim and smart. If you're fat you can loose weight, but short and stupid are pretty sad.

I didn't say that Vahedi wasn't responsible for the misplaced signs. I said that he shouldn't be called out and blamed for the actions of a volunteer whose behavior he may not be aware of.
Know the difference and stop being an idiot.
Also, that sign could easily have been placed there by another campaign, and you know it. It could easily be the person who was caught on video stealing his signs.
