Candidate Adeena Bleich Stumps in CD5
You might remember that when Council Member "Sleeping" Greig Smith first ran for his 12th District seat he made a video with all kinds of promises we can, sadly, laugh at now.
Here we have another wannabe Council Member, Adeena Bleich who is seeking the 5th Council District seat who has been captured on video making all kinds of promises.
Conventional wisdom is Bleich won't win but if she does remember this when she becomes yet another piece of the shady horseshoe.

Didn't anyone ever teach her that the scariest phrase uttered by politicians is, "we're from the government and we're here to help."?
Prediction:
Koretz: 36%
Ritter Simon: 21%
Galperin: 20%
Bleich: 18%
Vahedi: 5%
Koretz is holding on to number one by every measure but must take steps to convert name ID to concrete votes.
As numbers above show, Ritter Simon needs to defend her current #2 slot, now by raising additional funds for mail campaign.
Similarly, Galperin has a chance of making the runoff if he can raise more money for mail.
Bleich, Vahedi, etc. not quite ready for prime time. But solid showing in fundraising due to their respective niches.
RR Simon will disappear once her opponents remind voters that a few months ago she said she would support forcing folks who remodel homes to conduct an EIR to satisfy their neighbors...This may make her a hero to some but to the poor schlep who just wants to add a bedroom for grandma, this is going to be a killer position.
Adeena's hot in a big girl sort of way. I'd hit it.
