Losing her spot on the Mayor Sam list of Republican hotties Representative Michelle Bachmann of Michigan had a bizarre moment calling for "investigations" of the patriotism of various individuals.

With an Obama supporter in Missouri suing John McCain for "hate speech" and law enforcement officers being advised to monitor campaign materials for critical comments about Obama the last things some Republicans should be doing is calling for a return to McCarthyism.
