Israel Prefers McCain

John McCain may be down in some of the polls but if he was running in Israel against Barack Obama he'd easily win. A poll conducted for the Rabin Center for Israel Studies shows that Israelis would vote 46 to 34 percent for  McCain over Obama.

In the poll, nearly half or 48.6% of Israelis surveyed believe that McCain's policies would be more favorable compared to only 31.5% for Obama.

While this may be good news for McCain unfortuantely for him Israeli citizens can't vote in our elections.

In this investigative piece, the Houston Chronicle reporter took McCain's three most serious against Obama and ACORN and examined them.

One was found to be false, another half true, and the other totally overblown.

That makes sense the Georgians would support McCain. Obama scares the shit out of them because he blamed them for the Russians invading them.

USA Today's "Price of Power" series today features Dan Cooper a businessman, member of the NRA, and CEO of the Montana-based Cooper Arms, which makes hunting rifles.

After regularly voting for Republican presidents, Cooper donated $3,000 to the Obama campaign. He did so because of the war and his feeling that the GOP has moved so far to the right in recent years.

He believes Obama's message about retooling America and helping American small business compete with overseas businesses.

According to the non-partisan Center for Responsive Politics, which codes contributions by occupation, George Bush outraised Kerry among employees and executives in nearly every business sector in 2004.

But now, Obama leads McCain in the finance, insurance and real estate, health, communications, and law sectors.

McCain lead in teh transportation, construction, defense, energy, and agribusiness sectors.

Obama also leads in the misc. category which includes many small businesses.

But, more relevant is that according to the Christian Science Monitor, Jews in America favor Obama 3:1 over McCain.
