Unbelievable!
Some joker in West Hollywood named Chad Michael Morissette has hung Republican Vice-Presidential nominee Sarah Palin in effigy outside his home. Imagine if this was done to Barack Obama?
(Photo is of Morissette)To his great credit, West Hollywood Mayor Jeffrey Prang, condemned the act, saying "I strongly oppose political speech that references violence - real or perceived.Politics in America has become extremely polarized in recent years and we all have a responsibility to focus on our political differences in a thoughtful, and peaceful manner. I urge these residents to take down their display and find more constructive ways to express their opinion,"
Chad thinks it's some kind of Halloween joke but we're waiting for the punchline.

This display has no place in political discourse under any circumstances and should be outrightly and unequivocally condemned by all regardless of who you support.
There are no words to describe how offensive this display is.
That is all that needs to be said.

I think you and Jeff Prang are the only Democratic officials to say that.
Bringing it even closer to home, you'd have to wonder what the local outcry would be if two lesbians in wedding dresses were hung in effigy on a lawn with a Yes On 8 sign. That boy seriously needs a talking to.

The point is that if you don't respect presidential candidates for being candidates, then you don't respect the position. And in this case, they are also suggesting that someone should die.
