Hey Anthony!

The L.A. Times' Shelby Grad posts this screenshot from the train crash of "Anthony" Villaraigosa, and even mentions Mayor Sam today.

OMG, I just want to puke every time I see that a**hole!!! I just wanted to rip that fireman's jacket off of him...what an a**hole!!!

I really hope someone does a complete audit of his finances before he is thrown out of office! He was dead broke before he became mayor, and we need to demand a full accounting from him!

I'm sure he has millions of our dollars stuffed into his mattress, but of course he will say it was all gifting from his 'friends'!!!

Just remember he was broke and in debt before he was mayor!!!!

Haiku, it's difficult to tell whether you are insensitive or just stupid. Either way, you proved yourself to be a real jerk with this one.

Don't be a dimwit, 1:31.

The ACCIDENT was tragic.

The screenshot of an attention mongering mayor in an oversized fireman's jacket is funny.

(1.) It's not really supposed to be "funny" at all but a sort of irony- if you check the LA Times Post, the comment about the t.v. screen shot with the mistake on his name- that people still don't know what his name is even though he's constantly in the public eye.
The crash is not the matter justaposed here.

(2.) Did the reason for wearing the "fireman's coat" ever get cleared up?

In CD-14-Working towards making him "One-term Tony."

Truly sad that some people weren't born with a conscience and use a tragedy like this just to get in front of the camera. Antonio's mother would be so ashamed of him. Shows he has no ethics whatsoever.

Angelenos need a mayor who will spend 89% of his/her time on official city business and 11% on traveling, press conferences, meeting with special interest groups, etc.

Surely your misspelling of his name was intentional.

Yes it was, and don't call me Shirley.

The City Council continues to ignore their responsibility in updating its Annual Growth and Infrastructure Review Report while Los Angeles has experienced a great deal of growth and new construction since 1998.

.....4:14 pm, What would his sister Mary Lou, the Superior Court Judge say about her brothers ethics?

Maybe "I would have been appointed judge even if you were not the mayor." Hmmmm.

just an opinion.

CD-14 @ 4:01 p.m. - I'm working the same angle.

Change Tony "Two-Timer" Villar's name to Tony "Two-Timer One-Termer" Villar!

I'd like to drive a stake through his heart (if he has one)... the little bloodsucking twerp.

sadly more people are going to die on metrolink because these problems are rarely solved. that's why we need to get control of this government and it's spending before more people are killed. other forms of transportation could be used without harming the environment or using excess energy but as long as these crooks run the show you'll only pay more for less.

there's one person who would open the door that would stop these problems and clean up city hall. let's here it!! LAURA CHICK FOR MAYOR"!!! she knows where the problems are and will share it with us.

How sad that it takes a train wreck for the mayor to visit the Valley.

September 17, 2008 6:05 PM

Anonymous Anonymous said:

Oh come on 6:05, you are being blatantly unfair. The mayor has spent as much time in the valley as he has anywhere else.

Prove otherwise and I'll find events he HAS attended.

Up to the challenge?

Please do tell me where, when, and for what reason the mayor was out in the Valley.

Kindly,
