OMG, the candidate has his name on his seat!!!! This is just wrong!
McCain uses his wive's jets and
doesn't need a namer tag to show him where to sit.

Thanks for posting the pictures Spot! O Force One is rockin'! But in a really minimalist way. But still groovy.
Seeing his chair with his Campaign logo on it gave me excited goosebumps! I hope to see it on Air Force One someday!
I think this passage from the CBS article you linked to pretty much sums up how scary Old Man Grumpus really is:
In McCain's spacious first class area, there are 12 plush leather seats for the candidate, his wife and senior staffers. The “straight talk” area features a long leather bench and another first class seat which McCain sits in when he talks to the press – or would, if he used the area.
Since they acquired the plane with its specially modified area, McCain has spoken to the press there precisely once, over a month ago. All of these sections are separated by curtains, which are always shut as tightly as possible as soon as the plane takes off in order to keep the different sections of the plane from interacting with each other
So basically John McCain can only come up with "Straight Talk" once a month, and that whole mental picture of curtains shut tightly to keep the riff-raff out is really chilling and anti-social. But I suppose it's better than getting caught angrily snapping at your wife and calling her the "C" word. Talk about "Straight Talk"! Yowsa! Yowsa! Yowsa!
And I LOVED the link to the L.A. Times article! It was awesome! I think this part of the article summed up the lack of intelligent reasoning when dealing with all the petty Obama nit-picking (embroidered pillows on his airplane seat? for reals? that's all the cheese ya got?):
These red herrings, a veritable school of 'em, are amusing for those who put them in perspective. But how many take the time to do that?
"There's an interesting line building on Obama that somehow success and intelligence are a handicap," said Mark Sawyer, a UCLA political scientist. "If he wasn't extraordinary, he wouldn't be there. But then he is extraordinary and it becomes, 'He is just too good, too well spoken, too accomplished.'"
Spot, you've been right all along... the Bruins DO KNOW WHAT'S BEST! Your Bruin compadre hit the nail square on the head with his brilliant Bruin analysis! I concur! Obama IS being unfairly attacked for being ... uh... smarter, more extraordinary, better speaking and more intelligent (that cheating Bear Bear! How dare he be more superior than your average GOP candidate?!).
LOL OH, and don't forget, what else did the Bruin political scientist refer to him as?
OH yeah: "extraordinary!" "too good!" "too well spoken!"

Hopeless to try to let Valley Ditz, though Red Spot's been very articulate on this issue, more than usual, I might say.
Clearly Valley Ditz has never flown first-class -- being supportive of the riff-raff herself, including letting her kids call the nutty mutt "Uncle," the whole concept eledes her. "Anti-social,' indeed, to want and demand your well-earned space.
I think it's cool that the McCains have all the comfie space, and don't have the insecure need to keep showing it off to everyone -- he gives interviews when he has something of substance to say.
Where O gives interviews without any substance ever, just for the ego-gratification and attention.

It is going to be SO MUCH FUN seeing the faces of Obama supporters when this guy loses.
But what's going to be MORE fun is watching him over the next 30 years as the "could have been" guy like John Kerry. Like Al Gore. Like Geraldine Ferraro.
The Dems' only chance to win this thing was Hillary. And you figured out how to screw that up! She'd have won every one over. Way to go Dems. Even I don't want a non-Choice guy in there, but that's the best remaining choice.
Higby, there needs to be a maximum word count on this thing.
If Valley Dull wants to expound, let her write an article instead of overwhelming the comment section with massive, breathless commentaries.
Maybe she should try haikus and you won't then need two of them writing them.

Valley Ditz are you aware that McCain is married to an extremely wealthy woman?
The way one spends money should correlate to their personal money, NOT campaign donations.
Unless that's how you'd like Obama to treat the nation's finances. If you don't know, and I imagine you don't, he's a socialist.

5:29, so right about Hillary. Even McAfferty on his Report/ CNN today, quotes polls showing that an Obama/ Hillary ticket would win over McCain, that it's probably the only chance for the Dems to win. But O won't let himself get overshadowed by Billary, he'd rather lose. And WHO is it who was derided by the Dem "leadership" even her "friend" nancy Pelosi, for not giving into O soon enough, "for the good of the Party?"
