More Bad News for Hillary
CNN is reporting that Barack Obama won two more superdelegate endorsements Thursday, narrowing his deficit with Hillary Clinton to seven.
North Carolina Representative Brad Miller and Representative Rick Larsen of Washington both jumped on the Obama train Thursday.
Do you think the Clinton divorce is far behind?

Who the hell would call this anniversary day of the Griffith Park fire a CELEBRATION but our idiot Mayor. Good choice of words Matt LAZO (SZABO). Dumb dumb thing to say in front of all the firefighters.
....The only reason that we're standing here today in celebration of this very important anniversary is because of the heroics, the bravery and the precision and the professionalism of the men and women of the Los Angeles Fire Department," Villaraigosa said.

Can someone explain to me how Hillary can possibly end up with more delegates?
And can someone from her campaign explain what would have to happen for her to give up and support Obama?

Howard Dean's refusing to count FLA and MICH is denying two large and influential states their vote, and if she pulls out, many Democrats believe it would also be true for remaining states. The flaw is with the system, giving NH, VT, Iowa and other rinky dink states too much power too early; there were calls for Hillary to drop out after the first tiny town in NH were counted, but she's carried PENN, NY, CA and ALL the major states. Obama hasn't carried any of them, just states with lots of blacks (NC) and those on the liberal fringe (NH, VT) or just don't like Bill and Hillary (ohio).
Plus the media refused to mention a bad thing about Obama for almost a full year, by dredging up everything about the Clinton's. Obama's initial support for Wright and claiming whiteys just didn't understand him, looks pretty stupid now.
The guy's speeches, like those of black pastors, have lots of emptiness and fancy turns of phrase: you can fool a lot of the people a lot of the time.
Polls show that now, she'd have a better chance defeating McCain, that a lot of moderate Democrats would defect to McCain under Obama.

OK, that's explains why you favor Hillary, but how can she win the nomination. I don't think the decision is yours.

Talk about corruption at its core read this. David Z does it again bringing out the corrupt cholo Mayor's deed. And the idiot council members will vote on this. How the hell can any of those morons think this is ok to vote yes on. Tom LaBonge is a freaking loser.
...Villaraigosa's appointees at the Community Redevelopment Agency are also recommending that the council hand over a site that the agency has valued at $14.9 million to the J.H. Snyder Co., whose projects include the West Hollywood Gateway retail center and the Crescent apartments in Beverly Hills. The firm's president has contributed $160,000 to the mayor's political and philanthropic causes.
The plan is scheduled for a council vote today. Councilman Tom LaBonge, whose district includes North Hollywood, said he supported the Laemmle project but relied on the redevelopment agency to craft the contract points.
J.H. Snyder gave $50,000 to each of three Villaraigosa's initiatives: the push for a bill allowing him to take over the Los Angeles Unified School District, the campaign to elect three new school board members and the successful campaign on behalf of Proposition S, a $243-million telephone users tax on the Feb. 5 ballot. The company also donated $10,000 to Villaraigosa's inaugural gala, a fundraiser for after-school programs

With the exception of the 38 million illegal, illiterate third worlders that have been exported to the US by Mexico.....the literate, English-speaking legal citizens of this country REMEMBER the Clintonistas as the MOST corrupt, anti-American regime in the history of this country! It was Bill Clinton who sold us out to China and gave China "most-favored trading partner" status; signed NAFTA into law; vetoed the Welfare Reform Bill TWICE before the Republican Congress overran his veto; ignored Bin Ladin; and reduced our military to nothing! It was Shrillary who tried to push us over the cliff with her MULTI TRILLION DOLLAR national health care fiasco. And, of course, there were all the sex scandals!
Read the book "Clinton in Exile"! Read about all the ill-gotten money Bill Clinton has made in the last 7 years...and that snot, Chelsea, just happens to be working for a Hedge Fund, instead of doing peace corp work... free of charge!
Obama will be Pres ONLY because we AMERICANS would never tolerate another term for the biggest liars and crooks in American politics! We want them to just go away! Most of us HATE them!

Where are the people who always complain about Antonio but arent' posting about his boy Marcus Allen making $300,000 in his new job. People in LA are just plain weird. They go off on a tangent on stuff that doesn't matter yet when something this big is reported in paper about Antonio's boy not one word. Then the developer that donated to Antonio's campaigns is now getting FREE LAND IN NORTH HOLLYWOOD AGAIN NOT ONE WORD. WAKE UP PEOPLE......
Mayor Sam said:
The point not made about the JH Snyder deal is that they are the one developer (or one of the few) that worked directly with the community so much so that the usual NIMBYs are totally behind them AND Snyder received a UNAMIOUS vote from the Neighborhood Councilm, a Council that frequently votes down most other projects.
The site is a dirt lot and one the last pieces to turn around a formerly dead area that has sprung to life.
Their donations to the mayor's pet causes are chicken feed compared to other folks. If it wasn't Snyder, the property would go to someone else so its best to see it go to a developer with a demonstrated track record of being responsive and responsible to the community.
