Open Thread for Thursday
On the heels of a big day for Barack Obama the Daily News' Rick Orlov declares May 6th perhaps the "last Super Tuesday" and speculates that an Obama-Clinton deal for an exit strategy for the New York Senator could be in the works.
It could be as Sen. Barack Obama swept to an easy victory in North Carolina and held Sen. Hillary Clinton to what seems to be a narrow win in Indiana.
Political pundits are giving the night to Obama and there was wide speculation about the potential of a deal in the coming weeks.
Clinton is still talking about taking the campaign to Puerto Rico, Kentucky, West Virginia and Oregon, but she acknowledged in her speech that she still needs one thing to compete - money.
Has Hillary melted down for good? What say you?

Funny thing is, a whole lot of black commentators are sayin' Hillary should get her chance, AND give voters a chance, in the states to come. Unlike FLA and Mich.
History books will tell of this time as when pols threw citizens under the bus for power, and it baackfired.

Bill Clinton had to be removed from office kicking and screaming...hanging on to the drapes in the oval office...on Jan. 20, 2001. He stayed up all nite writing pardons...while his staff desecrated the WH.
Shrillary is his ONLY chance to get back into the WH, and he's going to stay in this race until the last dog dies.
The only person who will be MORE distraught is...you guessed it...Tony Villar. His "career" is finished, finito! I hope he doesn't think We the People will ever give him a second term....we can't wait until next June! We will be out en masse to see that his ass never sits on the third floor of City Hall again!

She's hoping to get FLA and MICH counted, and if Obama were so sure of himself he'd encourage that. But not doing so shows he's manipulating the vote to his advantage, just like the worst pols -- no "change" for the better there for sure.
Like her or not, if the people don't get their say in two important, populous states will tiny VT and NH and farm country and black states make the decisions, it'll never be a popular election.
Also O's negatives are just coming out now, he'd have lost early on if the media and everyone weren't so afraid of touching a black man when they were savaging her.

McCain's on O'Reilly Factor, Fox News Channel, this evening. If you missed the 5 pm show, it's on later at 8 pm.
Obama plans to appear on the O'Reilly Factor later.
