The Swift Boating of Obama or Clinton's Willie Horton Effort

How dirty do the Clintons get?

Sen. Hillary Clinton today broke her silence on the issue of Barack Obama's church and told a newspaper in Pennsylvania that Rev. Jeremiah Wright "would not have been my pastor."

In the meantime yet another Clinton lie when Mrs. Clinton had to backpedal on earlier claims she mad about being shot at on a visit to Bosnia in 1996. No less a political expert than hack 80s comic Sinbad had to be consulted to get the straight story.

Obama's pastor certainly made troubling statements; being of the same denomination and faith as the Illinois Senator I can tell we are told to take what we want and leave the rest. And its offensive that the Clintons and their supporters would paint our church as some type of anti-American faith.

"Our Church?" You go to an Afro= Centric church? Whose pastor screams "God Damn America" on a regular basis? It's criminal to teach that to kids, to take them to that church.

It's not only racist, it's not even Christian. Is that how Jesus preached? And his day of oppression was literal -- believers ostracized by the Jews, and killed by the Romans for not giving their loyalties. But what did Jesus teach?

Sam, you're sadly an idiot, clearly an Obama-bot. Logic is lost to you. Which is why it would be scary as hell if your people took over -- but you won't. All you're doing is handing the Presidency to McCain if Hillary drops out.

Hillary Clinton has angered Jewish voters in New York and nationally with her controversial support of a Palestinian State, and her startling embrace of Yasser Arafat's wife.

Now, as the race comes down to the wire, a new book is set to explore the first lady's feelings about Jews and anti-Semitic sentiments held by certain Rodham family members.

Biographer Jerry Oppenheimer's new book STATE OF A UNION: INSIDE THE COMPLEX MARRIAGE OF BILL AND HILLARY CLINTON will not be released by HARPERCOLLINS until Tuesday, but the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal:

In one particularly shocking passage in the book, Oppenheimer quotes a campaign official who describes an angry attack by Hillary in which she screams at him, "You fucking Jew bastard!"

It's Obama the Jewish community can't stand because of his support of Farrakhan, the anti=semite, and the anti-Semite's pastor, Wright -- who gave Farrakhan his personal award last year for his sharp "analysis" of politics and race relations in America. You know, how the rich Jews are putting down the black man and own the country, that kinf of stuff.

Obama doesn't want to let Hillary count Florida because it's heavily for her, both by the Jews and the Cubans.

At the recent Rally for Sderot rally, all three candidates spoke by satellite: and only Obama was BOOed. McCain got the most support but they won't really vote for a Republican, except a few Orthodox.

Obama's the only one who spoke TO A JEWISH GROUP GATHERED TO SUPPORT AN ISRAELI VILLAGE DAILY BOMBED BY HAMAS, of EQUAL SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN OF PALESTINE AND ISRAEL.

The Jews can't stand Obama, except for the leftist faction who's opposed to Israel. Even those who may oppose some Israeli policies, know Obama's too pro-Palestinian to ever negotiate a peace.

I traveled in Jordan and Egypt during Bill Clinton's time, and they all LOVED Bill and America then.

Once again, soundbites are left to do all the talking, with no context with which to parse what everyone is reading and hearing and seeing.

While passionate and almost zealot like, it is still quite normal to hear evanglicals, and pentecostals preaching in the fire and brimstone manner that is Rev. Wright's. Believe me, I've sat through more spanish evangelical sermons and black baptist services than I can shake a stick at.

My grandfather was a protestant minister for 50 years before he retired. My uncle is currently a minister. In the mid 70's, while I was still in the waning days of my single digits, age-wise, my mom dated a black baptist minister for a couple of years, and indeed, my very first kiss was from the son of that same preacher man when I was 11.

We attended his church in Los Angeles every other weekend. And I loved it! It wasn't at all like my grandpa's church. It was much more joyful and raucus and fun! But at the same time, damn, those preachers DID know how to put the fear of gawd into ya, but that's the point; that's their job.

An excellent contextual breakdown of the "God Damn America Sermon" can be found hidden deep in the recesses of cnn.com here:

http://ac360.blogs.cnn.com/2008/03/21/the-full-story-behind-wright%e2%80%99s-%e2%80%9cgod-damn-america%e2%80%9d-sermon/#more-448

"God Damn America as long as she tries to act like she is God and she is Supreme.”

I think all he was trying to say is that no ONE, nor any COUNTRY is above God, and heaven help the person or the country that thinks it is. George W. was getting a leeeetle too close to blurring the lines with his AMERICA=GODLINESS stance on everything. We're doin' it all for God, people! The killing, the bombing, the bamboozling, the senselessness ... it's okay BECAUSE WE'RE ON GOD'S TEAM AND WE'RE DOIN' IT FOR HIM! HE TOLD ME IT WAS OKAY! YAY!

Dopes.

Hillary is just a stupid slag with no visible soul. So, of course she's going to desperately milk this for all it's worth. Gotta deflect that whole bosnian "misspoke" mistake.

Damn, how low have you sunk when you're a candidate for the Presidency of the United States of America, and you just got your lying ass served ...by Sinbad.

(Which, Sinbad, my brotha; I ain't got nothin' but love fer ya. Thanks for keeping Hillary real. Call a Doll.)

I am a lifelong moderate Republican, but I intend to vote for Obama this Nov...ONLY FOR ONE REASON...I hate, hate, hate, loath, loath, loath, despise, despise, despise...that evil old bitch and her equally evil, filthy, dirty husband of hers. They are both pathological liars and clinically insane!

My hatred of them transcends politics...they are sociopaths without a conscience and without one milimeter of morals, character, or ethics.

If this is the best the DEM party can come up with....this country is doomed! Same with McCain...this is not an election...it's a tragedy in the making!

Obama is the lesser of 3 evils, only because he's the new guy on the block. What a loser...but I will vote for him in protest.

One simply has to realize that Hillary doesn't lie, or stretch the truth about her past. She has a common psychological impediment that alot of famous spouses have, where they believe they are their spouse, and all actions or successes of that spouse are hers as well. Hillary is not alone, Heather Mills thought she was responsible for Paul McCartney's fame, or as she put it "comeback" so naturally, she thought she was entitled to half his lifetime earnings for a marriage of four years. Hillary, while a riding partner on Air Force One, truely believes those trips abroad were about her. So expect more "misspoked" items to come out of her mouth. Also keep in mind Hillary is at a disadvantage. Being married to a consumate liar, she has witnessed several decades of lieing and thinks she has perfected the art of public deception where everything she says must be believed. She should be analyzed and medicated, not elected. Sordid reality check.

With Obama at the helm we will be rid of the same old powers that be that have "ruled" us for over 20 years, Bush 1, Clintons, Bush 2,. Hillary and McCain are part of that old power structure that has lead us down the path to where we are today.
Obama represents the real USA of multiracial and ethnic peoples who actually work for a living and would like to have a future here without being sold out by a "new world order", or "NAFTA" or CHeney/Bush international monopoly capitalists and deregulation and privatization of the military and all other civil service jobs.
The USA with Obama has a chance to heal our tired psyches and to pull together to restore our country's standing and reputation in the world.
Hillary and McCain represent more of the same old bullshit we have endured for the last couple of decades, time for healing and progress for the people.

Power to the People! All the people!

Valley Doll, you shouldn't try to use lower-class British Kingdom idiom, you don't get the tenor of it. No one ever calls anyone remotely young a "slag," that's why it rhymes with "hag."

It's pretty bitchy for women to add to the misogyny about her -- the "fat thighs," "butch cut," all that stuff. It shows YOUR insecurities about your own looks and age, trying to set yourself up as superior by using such snide words.

Somehow, it does reflect your own Freudian insecurities about aging and getting even plumper until...

You're showing what's really underneath all that talk about Girl Scout Cookies, tea parties and still hoping to marry many men. A very, very frustrated Valley "desperate housewife." Shore it up, girl.

Hillary hasn't helped herself by talking about her 35 years of experience and world travels, because unfortunately, too many Americans can't appreciate what that means. Just like you can't appreciate the value of a Ph.D at a top university until you get one.

We live in a time when looks and appearances and a little smooth phony talk mean more. But if you want to talk pompous -- that Obama, running for Pres. after virtually NO experience, naive statements about foreign affairs, and unashamedly putting himself in a line of succession from not only JFK, MLK and FDR, but all the way back to abolitionists, women's suffragettes, and even those who ended fascism in Europe. Get a grip, Obama. Hillary can run circles around you in the real world, even with those thighs.

Know what I think? You're jealous of her and fearful that when you're an old "slag," that's all you'll be. (Maybe you'd like to try to put a nice, tea party spin on what YOU meant by slag? Hmmm?) Please stop being SO Rush Limbaugh or Howard Stern. It's not pretty.

(And your attempt to put a positive spin on Wright is the dumbest I've seen yet. But you're an expert because you and your mom kissed a black guy once? Puhleeze.)

See no misogyny there. Always looking on the dark side of life, aren't you? You're a bummer.

And by using Hillary's pretzel "logic", since I've kissed a black man that gives me all the experience I need to speak as an expert on Black Issues and Culture.

Dumbass.

Desperate indeed. Get outside and have some fun dearie, you're wound up too tight.

I agree 10:20. What the hell are these ObamaMamas thinking?? I am irate with them. Do they seriously want McCain?

The poster a few days ago who claimed that feasts had nothing to do with spirituality was probably the kind of person voting for Obama.

I could not believe that they said that food had nothing to do with spirituality. They've never heard the biblical term "breaking bread"?

How about that famous picture entitled, "The Last Supper"? What did you think they were doing at supper?

I'm an atheist and I can name many references to feasts (celebrations) in the bible.

Where do you come up with your crazy comments?

Research baby. Try Google. You can probably type in religious feasts and find all kinds of stuff.

Jesus even ate meat. What do you think of that?

You want to be a liberal so bad, but it's just too hard. Well, don't eat the sheep. It would be cannibalism for you!

To the 5:42 poster who hates thrice, loaths thrice, etc.:

I bet you can't name one good reason why you hate, loath and despise the Clintons so much. The media told you to. I've never understood the Republicans who felt like you because they never did anything worthy of those feelings. But at least I can respect you for saying that and voting that way. As long-time Clinton fans and supporters, it just baffles me but I'm used to it. So you're probably going to have to vote for McCain then since Hillary will be the nominee. But I guess since you're a moderate Republican, I can understand.

Valley Doll - Believe it or not, those of us who adore the Clinton's wouldn't even know what Sinbad said unless it were in the paper or on a blog. What Sinbad would say is a non-issue with us. If it were too terrible, we'll be glad that much of the U.S. doesn't read newspapers or blogs.

I find all the Obamaniacs who would defend one word that Jeremiah Wright said in a church to be over-the-top. You're still voting for a man who has listened to this for years and still had him marry him and that snappy liability of a wife of his, baptize their two girls and listen to these sermons for many years and still give the man $20,000?? Jeremiah should have lost his non-profit status, that's for god damn sure.

There is no sense discussing it here until we have a nominee. We are just contributing to the ripping apart of the Democratic Party.

Every Dem in the U.S. will vote for the nominee, whether it's Hillary or Obama because nobody wants McCain. Not even the Republicans. So, it's best not to fight. Even if you say right this minute that I would NOT vote for Hillary (i'm for obama) or I would NOT vote for Obama (i'm for hillary), you can't possibly mean it because in the end, we will all stick together.
