Reader's Hotsheet at 2 a.m.
Today may be a bit AWOL for us. For one, there seems to be an outbreak of something among the scribes. For another, a few people who ordinarily put their heads together about things have a busy day ahead.
Spring break, Easter, vernal equinox, St. Joseph's Day, March Madness, etc...It's a good time to let go anyway.
So if you think of it: tell us a blog you think we should know about. We don't know nearly as much as you do. What else do you like around town?
And tell us something about this blog we should know about.
What do you like us to be best? Angry? Sweet? Conciliatory? Flawed?
What can't you stand about us? Snippiness? Sarcasm? Sanctimoniousness?
We blog enough anyway. Take over the joystick for a minute.
To anyone who says something honest and thoughtful: thanks much. To every reader: thanks very much.

Hey JM, take the day off it's a beautiful day, Ash Wednesday, Holy Week, this Friday, Good Friday, when Jesus Christ was crucified by the powers that be as a scapegoat for the Religious money changers and power brokers in the temples, and as is the case in our present predicament they were accommodated by a Justice system interested in protecting the status quo. Who's our Pontius Pilot of today, who will wash their hands of what really ails our country and people at present.
Yesterday I was in New Mexico and driving up to Santa Fe and I had to be careful to avoid the many pilgrims who were walking along interstate 25, carrying crosses, on there way to the "Santuario at Chimayo" where for hundreds of years people have prayed for miracles and guidance in their troubled and illness ridden lives.
I noticed many young men walking and carrying crosses, with fathers and grandfathers, young men who could be described as "cholo" types with the bald heads and tatoos. I hope that they find peace in their lives and that we all do too.
While I was driving I listened to Obamas "speech" which very well may be the most inspirational and healing address to the nation since Abraham Lincoln, FDR, or MLK.
I was thinking of how great it could be if we as a people could unite, throw off the old heavy burden of prejudice and suspicion, and direct our energy's on real matters of importance to us all.
Maybe a pipe dream, maybe like the real Don Quixote dreaming the impossible dream, maybe we're too far down the road to turn back now,
but the hell with that thinking, I'm inspired now and it's Holy Week and Sunday is Easter the day of Cristo Redentor, The day of Redemption, Yeah!!
All Power to the People!
Here's a little something to inspire you, the great Sister Rosetta Tharpe helping to make your day!

Good morning Ladies and Gentlemen (removes hat and bows low):
We recommend our favourite blogging nun, Sister Katy LaFond who, if you will, goes by the moniker "One Fun Nun," for that's what she is, savvy?

I'm back reading and participating in Mayor Sam now that the forum is moderated to keep out the off topic people, the off topic racists, the childish ranters, and Zuma Dogg. When ZD used his ghost writer, his postings came close to making sense, but otherwise it appeared to me that he was allowing himself to used by people who would feed him bad information, and in his haste to get attention, he'd print it.
It may be the Mayor's Sam numbers are down now, but they may be generated by a few of these types who did multiple postings back and forth. Mayor Same is to be congratulated for choosing quality over quantity.

I used to hate the moderation, but after the threads kept getting taken over by nonsense that was repeated over and over, I started to like the nonsense.
I know a lot of you personally and recently you have fried my ass. Disagreeing with a contributing blogger shouldn't bring out that much anger. I'm tough though, so I don't care enough what any of your online personalities are like or what you say about me.
I hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate the posts that are extremely racist and constantly talk about cholos and incorrect
Spanish words for other name-calling purposes. Sorry, but all of us here don't hate immigrants as much as some of the others and it's horrible to read. I'm not even interested enough to read their newspaper accounts of the latest "mexican" gang killing. I could find a hundred white killing stories if you wanted me to, so the person/s who do that are ignorant and boring.
I hate the term midget mayor. It's really old and boring.
I hate that Zuma Dogg is gone. I go to his blog a little more than here. He is eternally cheerful (believe it or not) and more intelligent than anyone gives him credit for.
The worst is when someone posts something about an animal and some people go "mad posting" and it's all nonsensical and it gets left up or else shut down. Is there no happy medium?
It sucks that all of you are Obama lovers. It's so bad that you don't even post about his god-awful pastor but you'll crucify Hillary over the little benign, Geraldine Ferraro statement. But hey - it's your blog. It's not all of your readers that love him; it's you bloggers.
That's all I can think of for now.
I have to get my real news from CityWatch.
I like all the bloggers except I've never seen Numan write anything, nor have I seen the SS Taylor person write anything. Are they legit people? Do we need contributors who are non-contributors?
