Home Depot vs. The First Amendment
With the recent backroom deal regarding the Sunland-Tujunga Home Depot by Rocktard Delgadillo, I thought it would be fun to revisit the film of my visit to ST and the Home Depot site where Home Depot's paid security guard attempted to prevent myself and North Valley Reporter editor-publisher Nina Royal from reporting on the story.

Why did anyone on this blog believe that HD wouldnt get an "agreement".
The Councilman have no concern over what the people want, only that the Councilmen can get donations to keep the 'machine' in place.
Maybe it would be better if we cancelled all of the Councilmen positiones and started over with an honest Mayor who appoints the Councilmen to each district. Then they couldnt blame 'the other guy" and we could petition to have the who damn bunch fired whenever it was necessary. If you lie, cheat, steal OUR MONEY, you lose your job.
Just like a real business.

I always thought Home Depot would go there. I don't believe any of our council members. They are 15 sad, sick, overpaid, sadistic, power-hungry people who are definitely not servants of the constituents as they were intended to be.
Rather than even bother with Wendy, why don't you all start with Tamar Galatzan. If she wants that seat so badly, what are her thoughts? Will she just go along with her husband's VICA (all business is good business) stand on every issue? I would be trying to find that out if I were on the No to Home Depot team.
