Barack Goes 4 for 4

Sen. Barack Obama swept the Louisiana primary and caucuses in Nebraska and Washington state Saturday night, slicing into Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's slender delegate lead in their historic race for the Democratic presidential nomination. The Illinois senator also won the caucus in the Virgin Islands.

Is Shillary in trouble? Is she not taking Zuma's advice?

"Lessons Were Learned, But Not Necessarily Good Ones," writes Sandy Banks in her Times column.

A 12-year old 7th grader got busted and hauled home in a police car by 3 undercover cops on a sting operation for -- DA DA -- eating Dorito Chips.

Actually, he'd already eaten the chips but stuffed the empty bad in his pocket when the cops boarded, because he knew there's a rule about no eating on the public bus.

When the cops asked if anyone HAD been eating, he fessed up, showed his chips -- and was taken into custody for his honesty. Some kids do get rowdy on the bus, but he's the kind of kid who never gets into trouble, until he was hungry and ate his chips on the way home from school.

Under juvenile law, this counts as a first offense, and his parents have to go to court with him to plead his case.

Meanwhile, Banks writes that a mob of teens from Dorsey High in S L A swarmed a 7-11, overwhelmed the owner and ransacked shelves, stole a bunch of stuff -- and at least a half dozen were ID'd from security cameras. The school officials were reluctant to see this as anything more than "teens who need to make better choices," though the cops want to see the tapes.

As a black woman herself raising 3 girls to do the right thing, she thinks this really sucks.

Now, this is a story you can sink your teeth into, Sam and readers.

Never mind about the Tater Tot Casserole -- anyway, don't get caught eating it on a public bus.

Zuma's advice and a dollar will get you a cup of coffee at most places.

He's an uneducated fool with no political savvy whatsoever; why you keep his smelly ass around here is beyond most of us Higby.

GO GO GO GO OBAMA. Billary is out of money so they pull a publicity stunt saying her staff won't get paychecks and wella all of a sudden she has money but no enough. The OBAMA momentum will leave her in the dust. Hillary refuses to admit she supported the war. She has nothing concrete to speak of as far as experience except her loser husband's record. She's a hard, aggressive, bitch and dumb enough to stay with a cheating husband.

7:40: Well, she's running for Pres. and is a sitting Senator, while you're just a non stop whining bitch yourself, your head up her and Bill's butts and their personal lives.

She's got the guts to say she's "the one wearing the pantsuits in the White House," while you jealously whine and whine, so mad that she and Antonio are still going places and no one, nadia, cares about YOU. Bastante, vayas.

Congrats to Team Obama on 4 more wins! If you get a chance, check out Frank Rich's piece today in the NY Times (http://www.nytimes.com/2008/02/10/opinion/10rich.html?oref=login&pagewanted=print). Tim Russert also referenced it on Meet The Press. There were two things that stood out:

1. The contrast between the Clinton Hallmark forum and Yes We Can video.

"The Hallmark show, enacted on an anachronistic studio set that looked like a deliberate throwback to the good old days of 1992, was equally desperate. If the point was to generate donations or excitement, the effect was the reverse. A campaign operative, speaking on MSNBC, claimed that 250,000 viewers had seen an online incarnation of the event in addition to “who knows how many” Hallmark channel viewers. Who knows, indeed? What we do know is that by then the “Yes We Can” Obama video fronted by the hip-hop vocalist will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas had been averaging roughly a million YouTube views a day. (Cost to the Obama campaign: zero.)"

2. What happens if the Clinton makes a play for the delegates in Michigan and Florida? If the credentials committee allows the vote to stand, would the fall-out damage the candidate?

"A race-tinged brawl at the convention, some nine weeks before Election Day, will not be a Hallmark moment. As Mr. Wilkins reiterated to me last week, it will be a flashback to the Democratic civil war of 1968, a suicide for the party no matter which victor ends up holding the rancid spoils."
