He's back! The ever lovable goofball, the uni-named President of the Glassell Park Neighborhood Council, Bradley is in the news again.
According to our sources Bradley told stakeholder Mo Oxford the following:
"The reason this board won't deal with you is because you are Rude, Crude, Tacky and DISREPECTFUL" (sic)
I didn't know the law provided that exemption to NC leaders. If that were the case that would apply to at least half of the GPNC board.
We've been promised video. Stay tuned.

Go, Bradley! Go to City Hall and say that to the smelly mutt, matt, hunt, and the other "rude, crude, and disrespectful" mob they've attracted for public comment. The Jabba the Hut Lady who asked the council with a straight face to transport her downtown themselves so she can chide them daily, because she can't take the bus because she's so unhealthy and large -- I'd love Bradley to put all these people in their place.
Let him take Dion Connell's place. He and Eric are just too nice, so these people are walking all over them and pushing the envelope.
Really? The board won't deal with Mo because he's TACKY? That's a rather lame excuse. As a publically elected minor official, Bradley has an OBLIGATION to deal with each and every stakeholder regardless of how he feels towards him or her. Unless he would rather be publically reproved for failing to uphold his fiduciary duty as set forth in the oath he took. Or forcibly removed from office. Now that's tacky!

Mayor Sam you are lowering your self when you pick on a community volunteer pointing out such a petty thing. Bradley has done more on a volunteer basis for this city and I think it highly unfair to put a thread on him. There are many many lame neighborhood council reps who are volatile, threatening, verbally assault women etc. Can we start with LA 32 and Hugo Garcia and what about the morons over at Cypress Park who call the women and threaten them as well when they don't agree with them.

And to 4:17 sorry, you're wrong. Bradley is an elected official not a volunteer. And as some have alleged (I haven't) he also profits from his activities. So its game on, especially considering Mr/Ms? Bradley or is it Bradley X? is viewed as unfair by his stakeholders.
For those curious, Bradley's first name is: Bradley.
Bradley's last name is: Bradley. So, apparently to avoid the embarassment of his parent's cruel joke, Mr. Bradley Bradley just goes by Bradley. Maybe it should be Bradley (squared).

Bradley doesn't have a first name.
Calling him, or any NC board member, an elected official is incorrect. Legally, they are not elected officials. City Councilmembers are elected officials. Don't forget that not all board members are elected. It wouldn't make sense for those board members who are elected to be expected to act like real city elected officials, and the appointed ones to abide by some other standard. Just ask the City Attorney.
Also, no NC board member has any responsbility to treat all stakeholders equally. That role certainly doesn't apply to City Councilmembers.

It appears to me that Glassell Park homeowner Fred Brito, (yes, that Fred Brito) needs to come back as well. It is about time we had a real slug fest in GP.
Just think what Fred Brito can bring. He's been on Dateline NBC, Dr. Phil, and soon Oprah and 60 Minutes.

LA Slimes is reporting that the Mayor wants to start charging homeowners to fix the pavement because city is backlogged. What bullshit!!! Why are we paying taxes?

So,whose sidewalk is it, anyways? Seems like they are deeding the sidewalk land to the propoerty owner. What if an environmentally thinking owner, who has taken out the concrete driveway, takes out the sidewalk for the same reason? If the CIty owns the sidewalk, take control and maintain them. Otherwise, like mentioned above, you may have no sidealks, repaired sidewalks with inferior product etc. Strop the Stoooopitiy!

But you forgot to add Greg Nelson to that rogue's gallery of names. His reign of error was responsible for making some of those same "crazies" into the backbone of the neighborhood council system while he ran DONE.

Bradley's rude, crude tacky and disrespectful comments were made in response to my expressing frustration with the board for STILL not responding to a public records request I made on October 18, 2007, and for STILL not resolving the grievance I filed in July of last year against Bradley. Bradley did his usual routine -- he lied. First he said that the Board had responded to all my requests, which they have not, and then he said that DONE told him to charge me 23 times more than the law allows for copies of public records on the requests he did respond to (albeit only in part). Bradley is no longer chair/president -- he resigned from that position, but the fact that he is allowed to stay on the board AT ALL is just wrong!

Bradley is the neighborhood rep for the area that had the gang shooting yesterday (though he doesn't live in the area - DONE allowed that even though it is against the NC By-laws). He also sits on CPAB for Northeast Division of LAPD.
And yet, he has *never* done anything in either his role on GPNC or on CPAB (which he has been on for many years) to help with the rampant gang crime in the neighborhood, except pose for pictures.
I think that's even worse than his stupid comments outlined here.
Give me a break, all he wants to do is protect his financial interests in Area 1. He and his partner Edel own properties in the Drew/Estara Area. how's that for an agenda.
