Following up on the Home Depot matter: of interest to some may be the City Ethics Commission's response (warning: .pdf) of November 14 to Peter Gutierrez's request of October 29 for formal advice regarding post city employment.
The five-page letter advises Gutierrez that:

When did Gutierrez start his discussions with Latham about working there? While he was advising the City on Latham projects?

I want to know what entity within City Ethics Commission is going to enforce these restrictions imposed on Mr. Peter Gutierrez.
