Why no photos of Antonio and his mistress Mirthala out at a public event. Hahahahaha the walkers were told to wait one hour before starting for Antonio. They can't stand his butt so they said the hell with that and started walking before he got there. Oh well....A reporter needs to investigate another lie from Huizar. He walked not even 1/2 way and said his doctor told him not to walk cause he had his wisdom teeth pulled. He is such a crybaby I'm sure he's praying his wife has a BOY this time.

I wouldn't bet on it, but maybe when it all sinks in, the mayor will wake up and realize it's time to tame his incorrigible, teenage ways and do at least one job right. The 15-hour days haven't done us, him or his family any good. He's spread so thin, all his major goals are unmet.
With a long trail of close friends and supporters who feel Villaraigosa betrayed them to advance his own cause, let's hope this latest failure, as he calls it, could finally bring the humility he so badly needs.

At L.A. City Hall, the summer of love
… there are many who say they don't care what he does in the dark, as long as he does his job. But he's been no champ in that regard, either. It's hard to get back on track when you're tripping over your own pants.
She (Salinas) may be about to discover that life with the mayor is always a threesome, and it's impossible to love him as much as he loves himself.

City Hall saga put telenovelas to shame
….I'd be less interested in all of this if Villaraigosa had been a great mayor. But you have to wonder if his failed agenda is connected to his extracurricular activities.

The affair is easy to understand and remember. Every other new city hall incident seems to shed more light on the affair from a different angle, or the other way around. Is is all about this guy’s thinking and behaviors. It is difficult to forget. And we won’t until he’s gone.
For this particular guy, the affair is the manifestation and reflection of his true beliefs, character, behaviors and his “normal” ways of doing things.
I don't think "love" is the exact word you are looking for.
Hey, Steve Lopez, so you think taking the Mayor to task for his love life gives you a right to demand the DWP head David Nihei AND Eric Garcetti return your calls immediately (you were so peevish because Garcetti didn't get back to you until noon of the same day!) to tell you why your own, one particular house was among the thousands to be without power?
And when they did call are report to your Snottiness, what did you say? That's in an abuse of power, because Garcetti's didn't happen to be out and he didn't want to trade houses with you. (Although he did offer to let you and yours hang out at his place.)
Grow up, Mr. Snottiness. Even some of your colleagues are embarrassed.
I admire Steve Lopez when he goes up against powerful city politicians on behalf of little guys. And I have been listening to Steve Lopez’s tone. His tone is this: “I am a columnist. I could write about this. These politicians should know. But still these politicians would be so slow in responding or fixing the problem. How arrogant or impotent are these politicians? How much worse would the averaged citizens be treated?
Steve Lopez seems to be the only columnist at LAT who would dare to tell the truth when writing about Antonio. Steve Lopez must know, and someone must have told him, that this guy is very vindictive.

This Mayor of our is such a Tool! Can't wait to get rid of his lame arse at election time, then he can take our LAME Police Chief with him to Mexico and they can live happily ever after! Then perhaps we won't be the laughing stalk to the rest of the USA anylonger!

2:33 pm: Ed, if anyone is a Tool, or did you mean to say Fool, it's usted. You can find the Mayor an easy mark, although you're Fooling yourself if you think he won't bounce back like the Energizer Bunny he is -- but to call the Police Chief Bratton someone to ship to Mexico, too, is so clueless as to show the Fools who are used as Tools on this excuse for a blog. Giuliani is still running on "his" record at cleaning up New York that Bratton achieved. Bratton is held up around the country as the leading innovator of anti-terrorism efforts, even now in L A., where the funds are a fractions of New York's (because so many of the voters are Fools and Tools that they don't know it's a priority).
