* MAYOR SAM just checked in on the Z-phone to say he sees the "RE-CALL JACK WEISS" signs up in Sherman Oaks. And he says the signs look professional as hell, y'all...that means they got mad money behind the effort, on the realest, dough!
And, oh no...interesting comment from MS blogger: "Any takers as to when Rocky resigns? When he decides that he has had enough crap from Antonio's operatives? And then Jack Weiss will run in a special election to fill the vacancy?" Ah ha...the rush is on to knock Rocky out of the box, and slide in Weissass before the whole city yanks his pompous, traffic-congesting causing, greedy ass.

VILLARAIGOSA'S NEW APPOINTEE "CZAR" CARR: YIKES! ZD isn't letting the cat out of the bag when I reveal Jeff Carr served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief of Staff for Sojourners. And based on a simple internet search on the ZumaTimes.com, I was shocked to see this group has been described as a (and I shudder to say) Marxist, communist philosphy-based organization. Read all the hideous details at Clinton For President Blog. And if all of this comes out so easily, with a ZD Search Engine search...Villaraiogsa MUST know it would all come out. So it looks like the mayor kinda had to go along with this appointment. Cause one of the bloggers had a perceptive comment. Carr is a bigger fish with more political power than mere Mayor Antonio. It's the whole WCVI crew of Villar/Nunez/DeLeon/Cedillo/Aguilar/A. Gonzalez/WCVI/et al. And under WCVI, the non-profit can spend as much money flying any elected official he wants, anywhere in the world, for business under the guise of "education". ("Yeah, gotta fly some politicians out of the country, to show them some interesting "education" related things!") Meanwhile, no campaign lobby reform laws. I'm having "Deep Thoughts" that CM Jose Huizar called for a new EIR to prevent having to approve or deny the project, leaving him time find another position to step into, so as to step "out" of his CM seat and all the current heat being blogged about in past months.

Does anyone remember that Dennis Zine's opponent in the last election was a total unknown called Greensein or such, who ran solely to bring attention to the fact that Zine wanted -- and succeeded -- in turning the last large open space around Warner Center into 2.500 unit condo. Bernstein wanted it to be a park and so did the residents, but Zine is a Republican pro-developer all the way.
Only time he tries to be a cool dude but fails miserably, is when he rides his Harley into town and wears stuff like that SM leather get-up featured here. Back home he has to maintain his conservative, prodeveloper persona He must be laughing all the way to the bank, with the recall idiots using him as their mascot for zero-growth and "power to the people." He needed patsies ignorant of city politics to rehabilitate him, and he found them. Not that anyone is fooled.

Jeff Carr was the minister who traveled with the Kerry-Edwards team while they campaigned. Now, don't you think Hillary should be pissed by Antonion appointing him to LA spot cause it shows loyalty to the Kerry-Edwards camp since Edwards is running against Hillary. This is huge corruption and political paybacks. I see the haters are back Zuma. If you don't like what Zuma reports go to another site. Weiss recall signs are up all over on people's lawns. Some signs on lawns are on a street traveled by thousands heading to and from work. You can't miss them.
Yeah, same story as in CD 14. A few activists does not a recall make.
Jack Weiss is the next City Attorney; if they dig up any more dirt on Rocky, he may not have to wait until the end of the term.

I'm not saying a Jackass recall is going to be easy...but to say, "Yeah, same story as in CD 14. A few activists does not a recall make." When people in Weiss' district have bought up signs all over the place. (Dollar, dollar bill, y'all!) AND, I think some folks feel this might hurt is Jackass chances as City Attorney.
But the loser spin doctors will say, "No ZD, any publicity is good publicity, thanks."
Again, I would bet money in Vegas against City corruption winning out...but you CANNOT tell me this doesn't sting that pompous Weisass in the eye.
