Mailander Leaves Martini Republic

In a stunning development, author and prolific Los Angeles blogger Joseph Mailander has left Martini Republic, the blog with which he has been synonymous for several years.

A curious exchange of comments on this post at the Republic gives some insight into the reasons for the split. Martini Republic will continue with blogger Alex and the rest of the team with some reorganization to the blog.

In the meantime, Mailander has established a temporary blogging home, splice the mainbrace and hopefully will continue to blog at the Sister City as he has been. He tells us he plans a new project to debut the first week of July.
