Gavin Update
Time to take a look at what's the latest in the world of San Francisco's Mayor McHottie. Last week was not a good one for him. Maybe this week will be better?ABC 7 (the LA one not the San Francisco one this time) is reporting that following last week's sex scandal, the Mayor has pledged to "work harder." This is after some recent worrying by Newsom's aides and supporters that the 39 year old mayor - under fire for losing the NFL 49ers football team to neighboring Santa Clara and dating a 20 year old Republican restaurant hostess - might just want to hang it up.
The Kennedy-esque hizzoner can take some solace in a San Jose Mercury News online reader poll in which 60 percent said he should not resign over his affair with his campaign manager's wife and city staffer. On the other hand people in San Jose can't vote in the San Francisco elections.
The Chronicle asks the man on the street if Gavin reflects San Francisco "values." I didn't know there was such a thing.
Of course not to forget LA's own Mayor who seems disturbed Gavin is soaking up the spotlight. The Daily News' Mariel Garza asks the question if Antonio Villaraigosa - who in the last week was working on mid-east peace, global working and investment in the Sudan on top of local potholes and gang violence - is too big for LA?

The Mariel Garza story is hysterical! Since I have stopped watching local news simply because I become violently ill whenever the midget mayor appears on the screen, I was unaware of the Sudan and Israel comments. It's time to pull the plug on this PHONY!!!!!
The city is going to pot in more ways than one; the mental midgets in city council are surpassed only by the know-nothing leader of the pack; and LA is looking like the mirror image of Tijuana...complete with the drug cartels in city council, the MS13 and dozens of other gangs, and the corruption of the Mexican government.
Mecha Guy can't string 2 sentences together and yet he is out there parroting his newly found amigos in Washington.
He is nothing more than a 2 bit phony with no moral or ethical fiber. I have personally seen him up close and personal on the rare occasions he has been in public with his wife....and he treats her like a piece of garbage. But the minute he sees a camera...Voila...that creepy, phony smile comes out instantly! He is a true Jeckyl and Hyde!!!!!
Yup, our midget mayor has become the clown of the nation. I get e-mails from friends in other states making fun of Villaraigosa. ABC 7 showed a clip of Gavin Newsom standing next to Villaraigosa and it was crazy. Villaraigosa looked like an old, dirty, greasy, short dried up raisin. Newsom looked like the tall, handsome, charismatic manly man. Trust me women don't give a shit that this guy had an affair. If you took a poll of women and asked who they they vote for Govenor Villaraigosa or Newsom hands down it would be Newsom.

I agree with everything you said and I sure as hell did not vote for this beaner! I don't know anyone who did vote for him. But I do know that as pathetic as his 280,000 votes were....most of them were illegal votes!
