Kennard Out at LAX

We hinted at it last week but now its official. Lydia H. Kennard, executive director of Los Angeles World Airports announced today that she is leaving her post at the end of the month to become chief executive of a new aviation-related real estate company.

Kennard will assist the Airport Commission in a national search for her replacement, while also serving as a special adviser to the panel as it revamps the LAX Master Plan (Notice the indoor palm trees? I thought palm trees were being outlawed?).

In a related story, our friend Boi from Troy picked up on LAWA's "Angels-esque" renaming of the Los Angeles owned airports in Ontario and Palmdale.

We had the same story about a month ago. Great minds think alike eh Boi?

-"Who ever posted "Dan Shallman" is Mayor Sam, don't be surprised if his attorney contacts you.David would make a great elected official, but he needs to separate himself from the Boyds otherwise he could become "collateral damage."

-"If you guess someone's blog identity, you should pose it as a question. It saves on embarrassment for all parties concerned."

-"I threw the comment out there about the attorney contacting the anonymous guesser of Mayor Sam in reference to another poster who had threatened similar action.
No worries, mate!
