Jose Huizar abandoned by his supporters once the smoking gun gets revealed. Why would 9 staffers leave in one year? Parke can't sugar coat this one.

Sorry CD 14 citizens, but you only have yourselves to blame for your current situation. There were plenty of other folks running for the seat AV abandoned, but you had to go with Huizar. I'm still astonished you all would support a guy is backed by the very one (AV) who screwed you over and left you high and dry when he wanted to be Mayor. Can there possibly be that many moronic people living in that district? How frighting!

Prediction- CD 14 folks will continue complaining about Huizar, but still vote for him. OR they may actually get their acts together and vote this sucker out. One can only hope!

And predict that if they do vote in someone else, they will still be complaining, cutting and pasting about that person.

CD14 is a basket case and always will be. Anyone who wants change in CD14 should just move.

9:13 All compliments of Parke Skelton. No one can deny Nick Pacheco did a good job as a councilman - with regard to municpal services. Granted, Nick wasn't the politician that Antonio and Huizar have been. But isn't that a good thing. Kudos to Alvin for having the courage to expose Huizar and Skelton. CD14 needs an 8 year (or 12) year councilman to straighten out that district. It can't be done in 2 years (Antonio) or 18 months (Huizar). Alvin has nowhere else to go and he's been around since 1995 when he had the balls to go after Alatorre. Everyone else is gone - including Huizar - Alvin is still here.

Gotta hand it to Alvin although many hated him for being so sleazy he is the talk of CD14 now. He won't have money to compete with Huizar but people are going with Alvin because Huizar has been so bad as both councilman and LAUSD prez. Huizar got in because Antonio's ugly face was on all the mailers and there were tons of people you just can't get to without campaign money that Nick didn't have. If Nick supports Jose he will get attacked for being a low life scum with no balls just like the rest of them.

Good morning ladies and gentlemen (removes hat and bows low):

Before the sots start carping about how accurate my November 7th predictions were, let me state for the record, if you will, that my record for predictions is equal to that of the Clowncil to always act ethically and honestly, savvy?

We pirates predict that one or more of the following will happen:

(1) A certain political consultant widely known will leave a certain campaign in the final weeks before the election citing reasons having to do with "personality conflict". This personality conflict will stem from the candidate's refusal to release control of the campaign to a paid outsider.

(2) The clerical workers in City Hall will go on strike, demanding the same amount of pay increase that DWP workers had.

(3) The state Supreme Court, if you will, after review of the AB1381 appeal shall request a crminal inquest be held and charges filed against those who "did deals".

(4) A member of the state legislature will prompt aides of another state legislator to "do the right thing" and testify against their boss who will be brought up on corruption charges.

(5) And last but not least, a certain politican's wife will make a telephone call to another politician's wife, advising her that her spouse is diddling a political consultant.

Ah yes, methinks this will be a very interesting new year indeed, savvy?

Well after reading the horrible puff piece about Alarcon in today's Daily News I give up. Antonio has a hand in every piece of politics going on with his intimindation and threats. Felipe and Cindy quit because they're terrified of Antonio and he wanted Alarcon dyed hair and all. Then Antonio has the school board candidates he's hand picking. And captain there's more council members running unopposed so I think I know who you're talkin about. Corrupt politics in LA. 2007 I believe LA will be highlighted on CNN, O'Reilly, MSBNC and Drudgerport for the corruption.

"BLUE BLOOD" of political dirt will turn CD 14 into a "SUPERFUND SITE" of negative politics.

Young Latino lifes will continue to be wasted in gang warfare.

"Projects of Goverment Dependency" will continue to be the "MADRASAS" of BOYLE HEIGHTS street gangs.

CD 14 will continue to want for a leader that will prioritize the needs of it citizens.

The rumor about the Republican office has been talked about in circles since Antonio was elected. Constituents especially latinos are fed up with the "do nothing" Democrat councilmen they've had. Latino Republicans got George Bush in. There's a lot more Republicans in CD14 then people want to admit to. Just wait til the campaign really gets into gear.
