$1.5 Billion Dollar Bond On The Agenda For Wed (11/15/06)
I JUST got done hollering, so profusley on City TV 35, Public Access TV and AM Talk Radio about "voting no on Preperation H bond bamboozle" -- And a week later, it's time to start the process all over again? (Please hit Zuma Dogg up with a paypal donatation, cause the last elections broke me, and I'm homeless again.)
On the agenda for Wed. (11/15/06) is another Mayor Antonio bond measure with a $1.5 billion dollar "budget reference point".
This time, and infrustructure bond measure for "reparing and maintaining 4,000 miles of City streets.
Although ZD is a BIG proponant of improving the infrastructure, I'm sure some people would be asking why the City doesn't pay for the road improvements out of City money that's already supposed to go for this kind of thing, instead of taxing constituents that will be paying off the huge interest LONG after Mayor Antonio Villagrosa is already done serving his second term as U.S. President. Please comment here on Mayor Sam, so I can represent an fair opinion on City TV 35. Some people say "No" to any and all bonds. Is this some kind of exception, or just the next wave of Mayoral/Special Interest Bamboozle?

ITEM NO. (58) - Motion Required 02-2658
ORDINANCE FIRST CONSIDERATION relative to extending the new business tax exemption for ten years for the second year of operation and updating the industry codes for contractors and film producers.
[What's your take? Neccessary to keep the movie biz in Hollywood (and out of everywhere else); or just giving Hollywood an un-necessary tax break, like they give to their developer homies?]
ITEM NO. (59) - Motion Required 06-2627
CITY ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER TO REPORT relative to a $500 million bond issuance to be sold on a negotiated basis for the new Police Headquarters Facility and the Public Works Building and provide a list of the underwriters to be used for this bond issuance as detailed in Motions (Cardenas - Parks) adopted by Council on November 8, 2006. (Pursuant to Council action of November 8, 2006)
[ZD: Councilmember Tony Cardenas was fighting HARD on this one. Was he just trying to make sure as much money goes to City Hall/City Council developer homies, as suggested to ZD? That's kinda cyncical. What's your take?]

California needs to join LA in stopping runaway production!!! The state loses billions of dollars anually. By giving some tax breaks, the state would still make millions and millions.
This assholes clowncil members are out of their mind. The news is now showing the black fireman they GAVE $2.5 million for eating dog food in photos doing the same type of pranks and worst on tv. Zine was the only smart one who opposed giving this guy money. Zine wanted the motion reversed and discussed and those assholes said NO.
Tell them Zuma to cut their damn salaries if they need money.
Antonio is in desperate need of something, anything cause he hasn't done shit in a very long long time. Oh I forgot he's having another clean up day in Watts. Can't that little midget think of anything more creative then having people pick up a damn broom and do the jobs of city depts.??
