Rank And File Teachers Give Villaraigosa Takeover Plan An "F"
The election results are in, and the members of the teachers' union -- including yours truly -- voted 56% to 44% to reject Mayor Villaraigosa's plan to take over the LAUSD. So much for any supposed mandate of support for this plan from teachers!
Now let's see how the courts vote on its legality.

UTLA leadership refuses to accept the will of the rank and file. Those that were "democratic" and "reformers" act just like the corrupt leadership they replaced.
I wonder what Villaraigoza promised them...
Since the teacher's union is one of the main causes of problems in public schools, I would consider this a positive development. The union is out for the union-- not for students, not for teachers, not for parents.
And Villaraigosa is out for his career.
Every time that guy says something it makes me cringe. It's sort of like hearing Bush speak, but from the other side of the political spectrum. Non-stop stupid shit.

A.J. DUFFY and his "FELLOW TRAVELING SUBS" were called out in in the "LA ANTONIA TIMES" editorial page. "SELLOUT PUFFY DUFF" and his conrades should spend less time on world affairs(ie. ANTI-ISRAEL CONFERENCE) and concentrate on the antonomy of a school district with parent control.
