Lame Idea Du Jour
You know the Republican Party is in trouble when then send out e-mail like the one below -- which they did. In short, they want people to hold birthday block parties for the Gubernator. I am not making this up. Now, seriously, can you imagine ANYONE holding or attending an event like this? Did they get this out of the Stalin / Hitler / Mao "Cult of Personality" handbook, or what? Anyhow, here goes, for your reading enjoyment:

This looks like a poor first attempt by the state Republican Party to duplicate the very successful house parties of the Howard Dean campaign. Among their successes was breaking the world record for the biggest conference call.
I'm enjoying imagining the Governor's voice ringing from a makeshift PA system in a cul-de-sac.

Malkin's list of charter schools getting funded brings another smile to my face. I suppose Republicans like her oppose any charter school that has a non-religious agenda.
