Its going to be a busy Good Friday for Mayor Villaraigosa.On tap includes: speaking at the YMCA's Good Friday breakfast, holding a press opportunity with Eric Garcetti and Jose Huizar to announce a $1.1 million anti-gang grant, going to the LA Police Academy to annouce the 2006 Police Unity Tour and Cross Country Relay Team, serving meals and distributing shoes at the Los Angeles Mission and attending a naturalization ceremony at the Los Angeles Convention Center with Secretary of State Bruce McPherson.

Hope he doesn't forget to clean our toilets..
I know I didn't win the election, but I wonder if I could at least rent the Mayor's office. It's not like he's ever there. Plus, I here the toilet's really clean....

Why should the Mayor be in City Hall? He is, afterall, the face of the City and is representing it very well. Besides, he has a lot of capable staff to do the work from inside.
