Villaraigosa Roast Video

You've heard about the Diabetes Roast of Mayor Villaraigosa. Its an annual event that supports a very worthwhile charity, but its sort of the "senior prom" for local pols and lobbyists.

They put together a parody video for the event, and yes indeed, someone has posted it to You Tube. Click the play button in the middle of the picture below, and enjoy.

Not funny to the residents of Granada Hills. Now you see why we fight so hard and we hate BFI, Arnie, Harvey and KNOW that we have got to get them gone from this neighborhood.

Thanks to the councilman's chief of staff for putting on the roast along with the other BFI lobbyists.

We wouldn't support a diabetes cause here for anything in the world.

We'll give our money to asthmatic children in Sylmar.

Friggin' hilarious? Please. I've seen funnier epidsodes of "The Wonder Years".

Wait a minute aren't the people who sponsored it owners of BFI? Mayor Sam why didn't you post the other fact that Antonio gave back $1,000 to these lobbyists. This is corruption at its worst. I thought Antonio said he would CLEAN UP city hall. Well its already going on a year and he's yet to do anything.

Werem't there close to 50 sponsors of this event? Not just BFI? And how long has BFI been a sponsor?

The Roast is for a good cause. Don't blame Berghoff because you don't wield the influence or money to attend. The only reason he does the Roast is because his daughter has Diabetes.

Get a life 1:23AM (and get some sleep). Nice to know you have no sense of humor.

I am not at all big on the whole corrupt campaign donation biz that drives LA City government.

But even though you can say many people who attend this event do so for less than altruistic reasons, the bottom line is the result is the money goes to a good cause.
