10:20 a.m. : Mayor Villaraigosa will hold a news conference with Gov. Schwarzenegger to discussed proposed state spending on transportation infrastructure. Union Station, 800 N. Alameda St.

Today at 3pm? The LA City Council Education and Neighborhoods Committee will take up the Council File Number issue.

This is a proposal for Neighborhood Councils to open City Council File Numbers on various items of interest.

Not hard to figure out why the committee has held this up for 6 months.
